Same issue I am having as other people had. I followed your tutorial, but when I open the Old TV project file no TV’s appear. I am running latest CC and have Element 3D installed. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help would greatly be appreciated!
Never-mind I have figured it out. I had to go into Scene Setup and click “OK” then they appear. Very cool project by the way!

Hey, I’m using After effects CC 2014 with Element 2.0.4 – When i try to load either of the project files it gives me an error saying : “Element has encountered an unrecoverable error.” and makes some .dmp file.
What am I doing wrong?

I’m on OS X and there is no VideoCopilot folder in my documents. The tutorial is using Windows, so can you give directions on how to make the TVs appear on a mac?
Right now I open Old Tv. and there is no tvs..

Not very impressed as the tv model was not in the element 3d folder
the project has 3D TV model also has a video tutorial, you are the first who complained about this problem, see the lesson and your problem will be solved. with best wishes

The project was a birthday gift from my sister so no NOT a pirate copy

Im not getting into this, i worked out how to get your project to work, but stop accusing YES a gift my sister got it and burnt it to a disc for me
I know about this file is most interesting in that it is not a pirated version. in the original version it is. I already wrote about this file later as it became clear that this project has been downloaded through the pirate sites, as each month receive letters about what I would have presented the project and more

hello, well this is a rather a long history 11 months or so ago a friend of mine, got 2 projects for my birthday, one of them was your project Old TV . I never use it , now I want to use it and some files are mising Biggest and sad problem is that my friend passed away shortly after, the poor had cancer, now my problem is that I havent the TV Model folder where are the files of the element 3D.

Now I bought it, does this work with Mac? When I place the model tv folder in my documents folder in a folder i created called VideoCopilot, nothing happens…
Or when I say nothing happens, I mean that the project opens but says that it needs the 2 plugins still.
hi, in the folder are 2 project. You need to open Old TV prerendered version. When the plugin will ask for a 3d model and texture you need to specify a project with footage Old TV\Footage\Element 3d
and click relink
Ok, now the only problem I have is that there is no tv’s in the project. When I open, I can place the photos and see the sky background, but theres no tvs floating around. Maybe you can help?
if you want to change or disable the background. this must be done in the plugin settings if you do not receive the TV you need to re-open a new project and specify the 3d model on TV, it is a model within the project folder in the package footage element 3d plugin finds texture and 3d model is tha same place and background

I just purchased your project. I watched the video about browsing to the “Model tv” folder inside of the “Element 3d” folder, but it wasn’t there. Can you please update your download files to include the models?
