Wow, this is really frustrating to work with when customizing text to what I need. Sorry but after spending time in a project with this text animator I am left feeling really ticked off and am requesting a refund of my credits. How can I go about this before emailing Envato?
I’m thinking about buying this project. I have something similar to this but I have to drag every word and shrink it down to my liking and I have to do it with every letter. For your template do you just enter the text in and it does the animation automatic for you.
Hi, Yes, you do not need to drag and edit each letter, included script does everything automatically.

After installing script will be available from the bottom of the Window menu. Window>Text Animator v1.0.jsxbin

This is a review, not a comment. I like this effect overall but be warned - it is VERY volatile, and there’s no pattern to the volatility (even with the updated v2 which I am using). In some of the sub-comps the text goes “off” when you change it - meaning it doesn’t match up to the layer of text beneath it, rendering it useless unless you want your text to look like a mosaic. Also, in my program (CC2015) the text flickers, but if you go down in the sub-comp, the text doesn’t flicker—sometimes. Being that the problem doesn’t have rhyme or reason, it makes it impossible to fix.
In addition, this project isn’t flexible. You are stuck with ONLY three fonts, and one of them seems to render out unevenly. The O’s and N’s aren’t uniformly thick throughout, but it isn’t supposed to be that way.
I regret paying almost $30 for this, so I’m scraping by, by using the same composition that actually seems to work, over and over again. This means I have to make copies of it and all its sub-comps in order to use it as a template for multiple text blocks in my video. Really time-consuming. The only uptick fro the previous reviews is, it doesn’t seem to lag or slow down my computer.
Update—I take back what I said about scraping by with this project. As I’m duplicating the subcomps to use over and over, they are now all fragmenting and are completely unusable. Back to the drawing board and now I need to spend more money. I give this negative star ratings.
- It seems like all these issues with flickering are related to cache. Just try to clear cache. If this does not help please send me screenshots.
- This project is so flexible as possible. It is impossible to create such an text animation without pre-comps. You need to create one comp copy for each font style, and one comp for each animated title text. And no more.
- If you have any specific suggestions how to make the project easier to use, please drop me an email, I will be very grateful to you.

Hi, Thank you for purchasing! This is ok, just ignore it. In this project uses “Pseudo Effects”, so if you use CS6 or lower, you’ll see this message.

Hi, This project works only with latin alphabet.
Greetings, I just purchased the template, am curious if it is possible to use italicized fonts with the animations, if not, is there a work around you could suggest? Thank you 
Hi, Thank you for your purchase! This project contains only latin characters animation. Create animation for italicized characters is possible but it’s very difficult, I don’t think you can do it yourself.
when i change the text i get expression errors and have to close after effects any ideas?

You can not. But in the next updates new fonts will be added. Anyway please write here link to the font, we will consider it. If font is free, sans-serif and popular, it may be added also.
