I am using a trial version of the latest AE. When I try to play the file it seems really sluggish and I am using a computer with lots of memory and a good processor.

Is there something I am doing wrong with the frame rate. i am a new AE user and just want to change the template.

I’d like to change the icons around the minute 30 mark of the template from an icon, to my own graphic. However; whenever I try the graphic I put in just turns white? How can I fix this?

1) how do we delete one of the placeholder segments? 2) if we delete a placeholder segment (we are using the shorter version of the template by the way), what should we do about the length of the music?

We have a pretty good understanding of After Effects by the way.

Firstly – fantastic work, looks great and simple to use (for a novice).

However I do need to pick your brains on two questions.

1. I have added the soundtrack as suggested – however post rendering, I have no sound, I have ensured that the speaker icon is on, but nothing.

2. What are the best settings to use for this project, as I have just rendered it with standard settings and my output Mov is over 2Gb – looks fantastic, but a little large for a 1.32 min clip.

Any help would be great – and look forward to what other treasures you have in store for us.

where do i get the fonts from. They are not in my system

Hey there! There is no rectangle 10. There are 9 of them, but you probably mean rectangle 1. Make sure you uncheck the shy button (http://www.joelstutz.com/Images/after%20effects/shy2.jpg) in your FinalComp and you should see it as layer no. 10. Then just select it and do what you want

Great Work! I just would like to know why after exporting the video (short version) in hd a problem occurs. When i watch the video, it cannot see every layer without problems, sometimes the video seems to fast, sometimes a strange mosaic is inside and it seems slow. Can you help me with that problem? thanks.

Hi – great little design u have made! I have a couple of little issues though, I embedded some video clips and they seem a bit jittery on playback, they are .mp4’s – the rest of the project plays great. Plus, If i wanted to change the background, is it easy? I am a newbie to AE and these templates. Thx
