What was the older soundtrack/song used for this project?
That old song is no longer available for sale by it’s author, which is why there is a new song applied.

There is error message when I try to open “This project must be converted from version 8.0.2(Macintosh intel) and will be updated for compatibility and improved accuracy.”
My version is 10 so I do not have ver 8. Is there any way that I can use it on my version.

It’s not an error, just a notification that the project was made with an older version of AE. Just click OK and save the file with whatever file name you want.

I am a new user of AE and I have purchased this file but am completely lost as how to get my logo to work. I have imported my logo as an Illustrator file but can not get anything done from there. Your help video file skipped over this part im a beginner and need help. Thanks in advance.
Hey there, thanks for the purchase.
The process is pretty simple. Since you’ve already imported the logo, all you have to do is insert that logo into the “your_logo” composition, and delete the envato logo that is currently there.
That’s it!

How do I apply the “fx” effect to my imported logo, I see its applied to the Envato logo, but I dont know how to apply those same effects to my inserted logo. Is this something that applies after I render? Because my logo is flat.

The easiest way to apply the same effect, would be to click on the effect on the layer, copy it (command+C) and paste it to your new logo layer (command+V). You may have to adjust some of the atributes to customize it for your own logo, but that’d be something you’d have to figure out, depending on how your logo looks.

Question: In the your_logo sections.. there are two identical files in the demo “envanto_black.ai” items 8 & 9. Do I delete those two and add my .ai logo? Do I add my .ai twice?

How long would it take to render such awesomeness?
Depends on what resolution you render and the horsepower of your computer. Definitely leave yourself at least a few hours for the render, just to be safe.

My first rendering was take 4 hours 32 min with x6 amd 2.8 Ghz on 6 G memory in windows 7 64 bit. I was use photoshop on my logo and text was transparent baground. Final video size i was chance to be 958×539, and its size was 2,7 M. So its easely fitt on website without heavy download.

After i dont reach you with EMail i hope Comments works better. i have all time i Click on Adjust you Scene or try to render a lot of Error Message popups. I dont change anything in the File at the moment i only look all settings because im a very beginner in AE. I dont know why this Error popup. Error say: Affter Effects Warning, Bad Arguments the Effect with the Name Tint not found. Expressio deactivated. Error in Line 1 Comp logo_MASTER Layer 100 2_your_logo Settings Black up

Thanks for your purchase. The errors you are experiencing are due to your version of After Effects not being the English version, so the expressions used in the project aren’t translating.
You’d have to add the tint effect manually, but you shouldn’t notice too much of a change with the project. Just click “OK” when you see the error, and proceed with the project.

Hey there – fantastic work – really love this logo reveal. Videostyle says that he made part of his logo chromed? I have managed to sort out my logo to show different colours and effects using multiple copies and masks as per the original Envato logo version – but would love one of the sections to appear chromed. As I’m new to AE – any hints would be welcome. I’m assuming it is something to do with embossing effects – but I’m a little lost. All the best, Justin

Thanks for your purchase. Any effects that you would like to apply to the logo, would have to be done within the main logo comp in which you placed your logo.
Probably the best thing to do would be to take your logo into Photoshop or Illustrator and do your chrome effect there, then import the logo into the After Effects project and see how it looks.

Sure, you can customize almost anything inside the project. Fonts, sizes, colors, logos, background, etc.

Great Job!. My problem is like a few others who have render time issues. My CPU is a 8-Core, 2.97 Ghz with 24 gigs Ram and the SD480 still has a render time of 8 hrs. Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be greatly apprecieted
PS – I have 21 gigs allocated to AE is that helps
