I noticed there is this glow going across the screen at a 45-degree angle for the different colors…blue, green, pink. But for the multi-color one (-0:16 in the preview), this glow doesn’t appear. Can the glow be added for the multi-colored sphere in AE post-purchase? Thanks, and great work!

Hi, the preview shows various customization examples. The flare causing the 45 degree streak is shut off in the multicolor example, but of course you have full control over all these settings in the project file. It is also explained in the helpfile how you change colors and enable or disable flares.

Kind regards, Tobi

VERY nice work. However, the “controls” layer doesn’t seem to do anything or change the effects. I just try to change some colors and hit the “play button” but nothing changes. Please advise, thanks!

I take my comment back. I restarted CS6 and now it all works. Really like this. Thanks for the quality work!

Hi dj_skimo, glad it works now as expected :) If you have any more questions feel free to contact me. I’d also appreciate a rating for the template, you can do that in your download section.

Thanks!

Tobi

Hi creattive, I am thinking about to get this intro. Do i really dont need any plug ins? (like trapcode or so). I dont have any of them and cant really pay for all those plug ins as well.

Hi BL4CKSH4D0W, thanks for your interest. Correct, you don’t need any plugins, only Adobe After Effects.

Kind regards,
Tobi

Hi Tobi, thanks for the quick reply. Great to know that it is without plugins, bought another one that was with plugins, because of trapcode there was a red X and I can’t just spend 400$ for a £14 intro. Great that yours doesn’t need any, makes it way easier for me to finally use a good intro. Thanks again

Hey, i saw the “no Plugins required (Particular and Optical Flares version included)”, what that means? No plugins required for the main file but there is a file with plugins for a better quality intro? (Better effects and particles)? Thanks.

Hi, there are 2 project files included, one includes the plugins and flares as a videofile and does not need any additional plugins, the other one still has the original effects applied and not prerendered, therefore the user needs the plugins to run that project file. The plugin version is for those users who want to be able to change everything; the look or the amount of the particles or the timing. However, the prerendered version allows color change of the particles and flares and you also can shut them off individually.

Quality-wise the plugin version might be a bit better as it is not prerendered in a (slightly) compressed format, but it is rather for the ability to change the animation than to have a better quality.

I always use the prerendered version for my previews so every example you see can be achieved with the prerendered version, so what you see is what you get. (Actually the final output looks a lot better than the highly compressed preview here on videohive)

Kind regards, Tobi

Awesome Creattive! Thanks for the detailed answer, really helpfull. I really liked this intro but i will rate it 8,5/10, i think it would be 10/10 if the “orb” had a smoke puff when desapearing, what you think about making the same intro (okay, maybe a bit diferent) with a smoke when the orb desapear? That would be perfect, keep up the great work and thank you!

Hi, thanks for the feedback, I will think about adding that!

Very nice logo!

Thank you guys for your comments!

how did you get such a clean render? i see no bands with the flares at all.

Really? I unfortunately see a lot of banding in the preview. However, in the original render (not the compressed videohive preview) there is really no visible banding at all.

If there are any, they are very little compared to my preview videos. what render settings did you use?

I render it with adobe media encoder and just pump up the bitrate very high (15mbit or so). I don’t think there is a magical setting as it gets reencoded anyway, just give enough bitrate to have as little loss as possible. Unfortunately, the videos generated by videohive will always look way worse than back in the times when we could reencode our previews on our own.

Good work!

Brilliant animation tobi :)

Very nice work as always

Cool animation!

Cool as always! :)...Love this one specially! :)
