Hi! I just purchased the Luxury Awards template and, on loading, I am getting an alert that says:
After Effects Warning: This project contains a reference to a missing effect. Please install the following effect to restore this reference.
“Lens Blur”
Is there a workaround to this? Has “Lens Blur” been removed from newer versions of After Effects? Any thoughts here?

I am using version 16.0.0 (Build 235)
I do not have version 16.0.0 (Build 235) now installed. Usually there are no problems with new versions After Effects, but this effect may have been removed from this version. Do you have an earlier After Effects version installed?
Yes, I also have Version 15.1.12 (Build 69) and it, too, displays the same error. Can you help direct me to where the LENS BLUR is being applied, and possibly I can replace it with another blur type. It is possible that this would solve the problem.

Hi Jenivest! Any ideas or solutions to this? I don’t know if the Lens Blur error is causing this issue, but any attempts to use the template causes it to crash. Removing the missing lens flare effect completely from the composition completely shatters the aesthetic and turns it into an absolute mess, and switching the lens flare effect to the more updated “camera lens flare” or “fast lens flare” would be impossible for me to do on my end.
I’ve tried going back as far as CC 2017 to find an After Effects still compatible with “Lens Flare”, but it was apparently abandoned a long time ago in favor of newer versions.
Is there any solution to this?

Can I change the speed of slideshow to allow more time for each slide?
Also, would there be a way to use the split screen with two images but to get rid of one of the images so that there is essentially only one box?

Hello! In principle, you can change the speed of the slideshow, and make one box for the Split Screen. but it will require changes to the project. You can do this if you have experience with the After Effects. If you can not do it yourself, I can change the project for you. Just write me and we will discuss the details

Is it possible to change the timing of the images in the slideshow? meaning I would like vary the length of time each images is shown according to my audio.
Yes, You can change timing of the images if you have a way with skills to work with the program After Effects.
Super slow render, even with a bunch of layers and effects turned off – looks good though…

I am considering purchasing your After Effects project Luxury Awards since it looks really nice and seems to be exactly what I need, however before I hit the purchase button, I really need to get answers to my questions, which are:
1. Would it be possible to have videos in the Slideshow and Opener instead of plain photos as you have in the demo?
2. Would it be possible to configure the Opener so that all slide texts are like the two ones at 0:58 – 1:03 minutes in the demo (moving away)?
3. How many characters at the maximum including space, can one have in each slide text in the… a) Opener? b) Slideshow?
4. How many placeholders (photos/videos) are the maximum number in… a) The Opener? b) The Slideshow?
5. As far as I understand it, the Bumper is included at the end in the Opener, is this correct?
Could you please answer by referring to my question numbers 1 – 5, so that there is no doubt which answer belongs to which question?

1. Yes of course, you can use video or photos in placeholders for Slideshow, Opener, and other

3. You can include many characters in one text layer but I think it will not be readable so good. It my own opinion
4. “Opener” includes 15 image/video placeholders and 15 text placeholders, “Slideshow” includes 40 image/video placeholders and 40 text placeholders
5. Bumper are in end Opener video. Also you can use Bumper as a separate video and move it to any place

1. I guess that it would be possible to have videos in all placeholders in Luxury Ceremony, no matter short, medium, or long version?

3. Regarding the placeholder text; Would it be possible to change font and size?
4. Regarding the placeholder text in the end Bumper; Would it be possible to have a .bmp or transparent .GIF picture file as the logotype?

Hello! Thank you for purchasing the project! You can choose “Color Gradient 04” and project will be Black & White. If you need to add more “silver” you can do it by changing the color correction settings. But for this you need to know the After Effects well enough. )
