Hi Giannis,
I’m trying to use video as the background so I’ve removed the solid & texture layers and have the video layer where they were (just above the music layer).
I can see the video in the comp, but something is changing the scale & position of it at different places during the animation (ie. it’s full screen from the start, then at the exact point where the text “clean” comes in (164), the background is zoomed in & moved over to the right a bit, then 2 frames before null 3 & 34 start, the position changes and it’s moved over to the left, and on it goes likes this.)
I’m very new to AE, so I apologise if this is a simple thing that I’m missing, but I can’t seem to find which layer is affecting the background sizing like that.
Please let me know if you have any ideas on where to look!

Please ignore this! I realised what went wrong (my fault completely, didn’t realise there were issues with the actual video source). Now I feel silly!

Hello ! I just bought the template, but the project has “expression errors” (140 to be exact), so nothing really works. I’m on a mac High Sierra and my AE is 2017.2

Hello Sir, you can use part of the scenes and render them at any time you desire! That way you ll have 10, 30 or any duration you want. That depends on your text too, so if you like the template the rest should be easy.

Can you use this to create a longer (4-5 min) kinetic text video? Or is it what you see in the demo is what you get?
Hello and thank you for your inquiry.
You can create a longer Kinetic video. First of all you need to extend the time of the main composition in order to have your desired time. Then all you have to do is to reveal “Shy” layers and duplicate whole scenes (are colored) and then move the layers into timeline.

Hello! great project! i have a question… can i change a word or one letter of a word with a logo (.psd or .png) for example in the word “everybody” i want the letter “e” to be a logo psd file.. can i do that???

Of course you can make any change you want including adding a logo instead or changing a letter of a word. You ll just have to edit the word (in order to remove the letter) and then add your psd or png in the place you want and parent this image with the word in order to match with the animation!

I am loving this template, however, I am having great difficulty with the nulls. When I change the length or position of the text on the timeline, I pull the nulls to cover the text. Then, I can’s see the text. I’m a novice, so I’m sure all I need to do is get my head around nulls. I’ve watched several tutorials, but they are no help as they are not specific to the template. Any advice?

You can add whatever media you want instead of a single color background. Just erase the “BG” layer and add your graphics!!
