how u send the vido ? by mail or fisicly
Hi there,
It’s actually an After Effects project. After you buy it you’ll be able to download it in your “Downloads” section on this site.
To be able to open the project and create your own customized video you’ll need Adobe After Effects and some basic skills like adding text, importing files and rendering video. You can find plenty of video tutorials for beginners on Youtube.
Hi, I can use the george to present my product. wearing a shirt from my company?
Hi,
It’s possible to control the shirt color, but you wouldn’t be able to add a logo or picture on the shirt.
In my George DIY Kit I tried to address this with the sign and badge accessories where you can add a picture/logo on them.
Hi, I can use the gerge to present my product. wearing a shirt from my company?
Very worthy work! it will bring you a lot of sales !!! Good luck !!
Thank you!
is it possible to use a custom character i made from “George – Character Animation DIY Kit ” and use with this animation? Thank you
You can use the hand gestures, phone animations and transitions from this project and the character animations form the “DIY kit” to create custom scenes.
Also in some scenes you can isolate the phone from the App Promo character and place your custom George from the DIY kit (this is in the first scene, “Low battery”, “Annoyed” and “Track activity”. The DIY kit includes those animations)
Currently the App Promo character doesn’t support accessories. It’s something I plan to fix in the future.
Where can i find the music in the demo. I see it’s not available anymore in the link you provided. Thank you !
I wasn’t aware of this. It seems like the user and the portfolio were removed from Audiojungle. You can try to search for this studio to see if they moved their portfolio somewhere else.
Thanks for the feedback!
Minute 0:46, i don’t find the app image to replace :/ Minute 0:07, i can replace the apps icon with onlye one icon :/ Any hints ?
Hi,
you can change the app icon in “Your_App_Icon_Placeholder” composition under _SCENES -> _Placeholders[relative to all scenes].
About your second question, you can create a few compositions with different icons and replace the “General_Cloud_App_Placeholder” layers inside “Scene_01_Phone_Placeholder” so you can use the same animation.
Thank you !
Awesome work, congrats ! I’m thinking purchasing it and I was wondering : is it possible to buy also the other George kit and import accessories from the DIY into this one ? Like keeping the same phone scenes but with George wearing an hat in it ? Thank you.
Thank you!
You won’t be able to transfer the accessories, but for example you can disable the App Promo character and use the character from the DIY kit with accessories in the first scene, “Low battery”, “Annoyed” and “Track activity”. Because the DIY kit includes those animations.
You can also use the hand gestures, phone animations, annotations and transitions from this project and the character animations form the “DIY kit” to create custom scenes with accessories.
Cheers!
Hi! is it possible to have a landscape orientation of the smartphone in “consume to much data” scene? and in “slow slow slow” scene? Can I change George t-shirt color, hairs etc like I do in George DIY Kit?
Hi there!
If you have “George DIY Kit” for the “consume to much data” you can use the “Look Right->Surprised” animation plus a phone (rotated) from the “App Promo”. (will be without the pipes though)
For the “slow slow” scene you won’t be able to use a landscape phone.
In the “App Promo” you can change the colors of the shirt, pants, shoes, skin, hair etc. But it doesn’t include accessories like in the DIY pack.
I want to purchase this but after discussing some facts. Can you provide me any contact details? my email address is logicalme91@gmail.vom
Hi,
You can contact me via my profile page.
Great project! I want to know if the character is separated from the phone…
Partially yes.
The phone is on a separate layer, but other elements are together with the character.
For example you can easily isolate the character in the first scene. But in the second (with the pile of apps) he interacts with the cardboard box which is on the same layer as he is. Other scenes where the character can be easily isolated are the “Low battery”, “Annoyed”, “Track activity” scenes. ( In the last one a simple mask is needed to remove the antennas and microphone)
Thank you flasheasy!
Great job! Would you consider making a similar package but with a female character? I believe it will be in high demand.
Actually this is something I’m planing to do, but I haven’t got to it yet.
Thanks for your feedback!
Hi Mate,
Nice work, great stuff.
Can I know if you accept customization of your work too?
I would appreciate if you could advise about pricing (per minute would be fine too).
Regards, Ehsan
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in my projects!
Unfortunately I’m not available for custom work. If your are looking for someone to help you with project customization you can try Envato Studio.
Cheers!
Is it possible to switch the character animation from one scene to another? (IE: swap the head scratching in the tracking scene to scene 1)
In this particular case it’s possible to cut the character from the tracking scene with a mask (as the camera is not moving it would be pretty easy) and use the phone animation from the first scene.
This way the scene will be the character scratching his head and looking at the phone from scene one, but you will loose the part where he appears with a jump.
You can have a look at George DIY Kit where you can combine all animations (for example the jump and scratch head) and if you already have the App Promo you’ll be able to use the phone animations and hand gestures to create similar scenes.
Thanks! I’ll probably just buy both then. How about the phone animations/scenes? Can I edit those? IE: change the batter draining to something else? Thanks!
Yes, the screen of the phone is a placeholder everywhere in the project.
You can place texts, pictures, videos etc. Also you can control the amount of reflection of the screen and the phone color.
Is it possible to make a character in the George Kit and use it for the App Promo? If so, how?
Here is an example:
Let’s say you want George to jump out of the hole (the animation in the beginning) and point right, showing some content on the phone.
To start you’ll need to create a new project in AE and import “George DIY kit” and “App Promo” projects.
Create new composition and drag George “appear” and “point right” animations inside.
Now from the “App Promo” folder drag a phone animation, the one that the phone comes from right.
Arrange the comps, add a background and your first scene is ready.
After you create your scenes you can use the transitions from the “App Promo” to connect them.
Hope you get the idea
I do but unfortunately AE timed out when trying to import the projects! I guess the files are too big?
Hmm, I’ve just tested it and it works fine here. A buyer reported similar problem, and it turned out that it was a problematic hard drive as the projects reads many files from the HDD on startup.
If you have access to a different computer you can try it there and see if it happens again.
Do you experience the same problem when opening the projects or it happens only when you try to import them?
Only on import
Can the DIY kit be used with this project to change the character in it?
The character in the “App Promo” and the “George DIY kit” are the same, but here the character currently doesn’t have accessories. You can use the hand gestures, phone animations and transitions from this project and the character animations form the “DIY kit” to create custom scenes.
Good work, happily purchased it. BTW can you please tell me which software you used for the 3d modeling/animation. They are awesome.
Vivid and fun promo! Good luck selling!
Thank you!
