You can just create your main composition in 30fps and start using the animations. You shouldn’t have any problems.

Another way is to work in 24 fps for your entire project. When you’re finished you should render it and import back the rendered footage. Select it and press Ctrl+Alt+G (interpret footage) and set the frame rate to 30fps. Now you can add it to e new composition that is 30 fps and render it.

In general “This item may not be property released” means that in the video there might be objects or trademarks that exist in the real world.
If there is a tie in the video (a real world object designed for example by a cloth designer), by buying the template you would not get intellectual property rights in the real tie (sold in the stores).
You will notice that almost all App Promo videos have the same message in the description, probably because there are phones in the videos (a real world object).
I think the idea is to notify the buyers, that if you buy a video with a Coca Cola bottle you can’t use the license to start manufacturing these bottles without Coca Cola’s permission.

At first with Anna I tried to keep the same style as George and Bobby (no nose, no neck, egg shaped body etc.), but for a girl it didn’t look appealing at all So I went for a bit more standard look.

Yes, this is the archive. You need to extract everything that’s inside it in a folder first (press “Extract To”).
Then you open George_DIY_Kit.aep with After Effects.

What I see on the screenshot is that you’ve opened the zip archive with WinRAR. Now you need to take all the files out of the archive before trying to open the project with After Effects. (After Effects needs to access all the files and it can’t do it directly from the zip.)
You can search on youtube.com for example “winrar extract archive”. There are plenty of tutorials actually for every step.

Have a look at “V. Using multiple characters” in the PDF documentation. This way you can use many variations of George in the same project.
Another way doing this is to work in separated project files, render the animation and combine them in your main project.

you have to open the project with Adobe After Effects.
After you extract the zip archive make sure the project file and the “Sources” folder are always in the same directory (don’t move them).

I understand that it is an AE app. I still don’t understand why it won’t load properly. It worked fine before the update. It still says “missing 75 dependencies.”

It seems like it cant find the source files.
You can try to click twice on one of the missing files in the project panel and find the directory where it is. After you select the file (one file from the sequence) it should automatically fix the all the rest.

Unfortunately there isn’t a way to control his facial expressions separately.
The animations start and end in the same pose (where he is smiling) so they can be combined with each other.
Sadly, it’s a fundamental part of how the project works and I haven’t find a way how to implement such feature yet.

You can watch the video “Combining_Animations_Screencast” in the “Video_Tutorials” folder. You’ll see how to combine a few animations together and how to create a walk animation.

These are very nice ideas, I’ll have them in mind!
Talking is on my list, but I haven’t thought of walking (front view).

I’ve just updated the project and now there are two talk loops (short and long), walking towards us animation and lip-sync mouth poses.
