The easiest way to replace the screen is to do a “replace file” command within AE, as it doesn’t act like the rest of the placeholders. Also, to change the text color, put a “color overlay” effect on the text comp layer, and you can choose any color. Thanks! Actually it’s a 2d render with a mix of shadows to make it look 3d…so it wouldn’t be too difficult to replace it with another device…but it’s not built into the template

Absolutely, simply drag videos into the placeholders rather than screen shots. You may have to adjust the in-and-out points to get the right part of the video, but it should work well once you do that. Lucas

Unfortunately there isn’t a simple way to pull this off. There would have to be more placeholder iPhones added to the composition, which can be done, but it is quite a bit of detailed work. I offer freelance customization, but the number of hours this would take would probably not make it worth your outcome. Sorry to disappoint, but I hope the rest of the project goes well!

For the titles, look under the compositions that hold the text and you should be able to find something called a “Color Overlay.” You can either change the color overlay to the color you’d like the text to be, or hit delete on that overlay to have the text color come through.

Yes. The template is designed for just those 17 to easily be replaced, but I can tell you how to replace the first frame. Look for the composition “Scene 1 Screen Masked.” Open that up, and you will see a layer at the bottom called “Screen/iPhone 6 black and white.psd.” Select that layer in the timeline. Grab the layer you want to replace it with, hold option (or Alt on PC) and drag on top of the “Screen/iPhone 6 black and white” layer in the timeline. You may have to resize and re-position that layer to make sure it is in the right spot within the comp. There are two screenshots, i think 10,11 and 14,15, there are multiple phone screens on these pages that all display the same image.. Is it possible for each phone screen to display a different image on this scenes? Thanks in advance!

Yes, but of course only with some more advanced modifications of the project. Essentially you can create more drop-zones by duplicating the existing ones and replacing the screens you’d like to replace. You can copy and paste the transform properties from one drop zone to the replacement to make sure it is in the right spot…just make sure to save multiple versions of your project so you can easily back-track

Sure! If you look for the compositions titled “Title #_ Individual” (You can find it from Main Comp by double-clicking Title # > Title # Comp). Those compositions have a color overlay on them within the layer styles. You can modify that color overlay in both of these comps (The top layer is for the text, the bottom layer is for the text shadow). I didn’t plan for the text color to be editable, otherwise this would be easier to find But either way, you can modify it. If this doesn’t make sense, let me know.

1. Yes, you can turn off this transitions. However it must be done manually for each transition. If you open up the mask layer for each scene in the main comp, simply change the mask mode from “add” to “none.” That should fix it so you just have a straight cut.

2. Yes, you can drag in a video clip and it will work just fine. Just make sure the resolution is 750×1344 or greater, or you may see some pixelation.
