CS3 project is buggy in newer after effects versions, but cs6 project works fine, because I removed bevel. So try to use project corporate_day_cs6+.aep.
I can update cs6+ project and add bevel, but without option to change bevel value. If you want let me know, and I’ll send you the project as soon as I can.
Please send the project file with bevel effect on the boxes. I just want the same effect as I see in the video posted for preview. Thanks and keep up the good work…I just saw your work and LOVE it!!

Sorry, but I can’t remember render time. It will take some time for sure, 8 hours is not too long. If you are in big haste, you can disable one or more adjustment layers in final composition (layers from #1 to #7), and render will be much faster. Lens blur sometimes make render much slower (it’s layer #5 in final comp.).

I am having a video of 2gb size. Could you please help me to get it to the size where I can play it online. Thanks!
Import that 2gb video in after effects and try to render with different compression. Try with quicktime h264, with quality about 85%.
This render will be much faster.
Thats what compression combinations I used for the render and end up with 2gb. 
Try with about 70-75%. And try with mp4.
UPDATE: Few buyers reported a bug in ae cs6+. Item is updated with additional version (which works in ae cs6 and newer versions) with no bugs, but there is no bevel effect on 3d boxes.
You can still use old project in any version from cs3 to the newest ae, but if you find a bug on one of the boxes, find that 3d layer, disable expression and add manually the value for bevel – same value you have already selected with bevel control.

Hi, As you mentioned, I tried to render by Adobe Media Encoder but the result is the same. So totally I tested by AE CS6 pre render and Adobe Media Encoder in 4 different file format( mp4, mp2, wmv, mov) trough my desktop(win7 64bit) and notebook(win7 64bit) by bevel 0.02, 0.01 & 0.00. Only I have come to know the bevel value is related this flickerling amount. If I set 0.00, there is no flickering on photo in main placehoder but appear floating dotted lines on grey BG. Even 0.01 slide, rendering file is useless. Please let me have the solution

Hi, There are black flickering under part of image block 1,2 and 3 in each images. Please let us know the solusion.
It may be related bevel control, but I’m not sure. When I make 0 bevel slider, black shadow area has not be shown but black flickering area still exist after rendering. So I cannot use this project. Please help me urgently.

sorry to hear that, 30 hours is really too much. Maybe you should upgrade your computer if you are planning to work more with after effects. At least little more ram memory, it helps a lot
If you want to try suggestion I wrote above:
So you rendered video without adjustments (layers from #1 to #7). Now turn on these layers and make them solo, and below them place video you already rendered, and make that layer solo too. Your timeline should looks like this:
And now render your final video.
And anyway I’d suggest you to turn off layer #5 (lens blur), it kills the render.

thanks Djordje, Make sense to me now. I need 30 placeholders so I thought about creating 2 projects and merge them. I suppose I need to merge them after I render them one after the other? also if it is slow I thought about upgrading my mbp. What do you think is more important to to reduce the rendering time AE CS6 : High speed external hard drice, GPU or RAM memory

hard drive speed is not that important for render. Even the slowest hdd is faster than render from AE.
Not sure what is more important ram or gpu, I think it’s ram, and it’s cheaper.
On my current computer I upgraded only ram memory, 2gb to 4 gb, and than 4gb to 12gb. Speed is obvious because every cpu core is using much more ram after upgrade.
I suppose that upgrading gpu affect more on work speed than render speed.
You can merge two renders as you described, or you maybe can duplicate scenes with true comp duplicator script for after effects. Check demo video to see how it works.

Hi, great poryect!! I´m using some video shots and have problems, sometimes in diferent frames the video has some black rectangles over it in the diferent cubes and frames.
my video is ok, but when i do the render the black rectangles appears How ca I solve this problem??

I don’t know why black rectangles appear, every cube shows 1 of 6 parts from your video, nothing black. Please send me screenshots.
It’s maybe issue with your video. Will be good if you can send me one of videos which cause that problem. Maybe recompressing before use in ae can help.

I see now. Thanks. But I don’t know what happened. It’s not screenshot of project, but one frame from final video. At first I don’t know what is the timecode for that image…

Ihave finished the project, but in all the sequenes appear those random black squares. Maybe there is a problem with the z depth of the front panels??

I customized that project more than 50 times with no problems. I can tell you what is going on and fix the problem only if I see the project with your videos. I suggested you teamviewer.

I bought this one yesterday, but I have a question, because when I finish, I try to render, but it takes over 20 hours to render, and the file size is very big…. I leave the computer on last night for rendering, this morning I check, and shows still need 11 hours to render, I just stop it and see the result, the file is really good, I love it very much (even only has 1/4 files finish rendering)... the file size is over 2 gb… Can you teach me which part I made mistake? Thanks for your purchase.
I don’t know what compression you used but if result looks good, use that compression, and when render finish just recompress that video to other compression. My advice is quicktime h264, and aac for audio. That render will be very fast, so try several times to compress with different quality, try with for example 75 and 85%.
You can recompress video in more ways:
- Start with new ae project, import your video, drop it into new composition and render.
- Open video in quicktime pro: file/export/options and setup h264 compression
- Any other software which can compress videos to quicktime, such as adobe media encoder.
Regarding to render time: project is heavy and its normal, every box is created with 6 layers + boxes on the ground contains additional 4 layers for reflections and + shadow layer, but it can be optimized:
Check help file for tips for faster render. If you disable on or more adjustment layers, render will be faster. Layer #5 (lens blur) have the strongest influence on render time, so disable it at first, and after that try to disable more layers.

Yes, it will be removed, result will be little different but not too much. You will see how it looks before render – once when you disable layers.
To disable layers, just click on eye icons:

Hi, yes, it be done. Final composition contains 8 scenes, and you can go to any scene and adjust it (camera motion and boxes motion), and at the end rearrange scenes in final composition. Not too hard but require some time to work on keyframes (the fastest way is: “unshy” and select all layers, press U, and adjust keyframes).

Yes it’s possible but require lot of work inside project. There is easier way. You can customize same project twice and render both variations. After that start new project, import both renders and combine them to one longer video.

Great template! The only little thing I dislike about is to have to turn off several effect layers to take advantage of multiprocessing rendering. With them on it takes forever to render. A bit of further optimization, perhaps?

Thanks for purchasing my project.
Please try this:
- turn off adjustments layers in final composition
- turn off motion blur in render settings
Render will be much faster
When render is finished, import rendered video in after effects, turn on adjustment layers and make only them visible (solo), drop 1st render below adjustments and redner final video .
Render again final composition, that render will be much more faster because adjustments are only over 1st rendered video.
I hope that you will be satisfied with result.
For render I can suggest you to render to image sequences with bg renderer after effects script.
