Bought it and was disappointed to find out that if you apply it to a text layer it has bound issues and you don’t see the full extrusion. Your directions say “you can apply it to a comp or a solid or text”. The reason it matters is that it makes it difficult to zoom into things and preserve the vector look.

Also your angles aren’t quite right, and the extrusion is pixelated because of the way you’re generating it. Isometric is about exact precision. So I bought this to use it with existing isometric (+-30 degree) elements. And your preset skew is 27 degrees with a skew axis of 130, where it should be 30 and an axis of 120. I give these presets 2 stars out of 5. Sorry.

Hi, thanks for purchasing. This presets you have to apply it on a composition, not directly to a text or solid. It has to be pre-comped to a composition before applying it. Also you can customise the angle degrees after. Please check the tutorial. Thanks

I did check the tutorial that comes in the zip. It says nothing about it have to being a composition, although I understand now that it does. Still if you hit the star for “constantly render” it loses it’s bounds again – so you’re limited to the resolution of the comp, and that is unfortunate. It’s just not ideal. If I’m planning to zoom in I’m not sure what I’d do. Probably do some crazy expressions to tie the zoom inside the comp to the zoom outside the comp. Or just not use it and create the isometric extrusion in illustrator. Like I said, it’s not ideal.

I am using it for my project though (with my modified angles). So in the end it probably will save me the cost in saved work. But again it is a pain to change the angles each time. In effect I’m creating my own preset, which I could have done without purchasing.

To other potiential buyers.. I’m not saying don’t buy it. I’m saying know the limitations before hand. If these limitations aren’t an issue, or if you need a quick isometric extrusion effect, this is easy to use and is the only iso-extruder I’ve been able to find.

What does this do exactly?

Can it turn any comp into 3D like the objects in the video?

Is it a tool that lets us do extrusion on shape layers?

Is it a pack of icons?

I am so confused.

Hi, yes it turns any composition to isometric, with depth 3D effect in 4 directions. Icons not included, is just the presets. The Flat Animated Icons you can find them here included the Isometric Presets: https://videohive.net/item/flat-animated-icons-library/11453830

ahhh thank you

Great Awork ! Good Luck With Sale !

Thanks!

I bought it few days ago, I am trying it now but AE found 3 mistakes each time I try to use it and doesn’t let me work well. Can you help me if maybe I am doing something wrong, please?

Hi, thanks for purchasing. The preset you have to apply it on a composition, not directly to a layer. Please check also the tutorial. Thanks.

Bonne idée mais certains paramètres ne fonctionnent pas. 3D_Effect_Angle et 3D_Effect_length :(

Hi, thanks for purchasing.!!

Looks great!!! :)

Thanks!

Very cool!!! I know why I can’t make such a video. When I was little boy, my mom bought me a violin :) ...and I can do music!!! ;) I wish you great sales, and I will be glad to cooperate!

Hi, thanks a lot! I will check your music!!

Thanks for the answer! I hope :)
