Once open, you can add your video as a last level (and disable the ‘bg’ level), or put your video on the ‘bg’ level. another way is always open ‘ANIMATION’ compositions, and remove visibility to the level ‘bg’, later, you can put your video in the composition ‘render’, under ‘Main’.
