helllo, Can I change the illustration of the building with my own while having the same animation?
Hi there, the faces of the building are flat so you could easily add in your own design as long as the dimensions were the same.
Great file, great instructions on how to edit the file.
If you never used AE before the author does not include instructions on how to render, what settings to use in the render, or that you should run the rendered file through another program after the fact but if you email him with questions he will answer and he replies quick!

Glad you liked the file and I am glad you finally got your head around the whole rendering concept.
Just to point out that adding compression settings for everybody’s individual needs and uses would be rather tricky and an endless task but if anyone does have a query on optimum settings for your render then please do just send me an email.

p.s. In response to this there is now a render guide covering the main aspects of rendering from After Effects and then using third party software to compress the file within the FAQ section of each of my projects.

Great work! I was able to modify the video to suit my needs without any After Effects experience thanks to the provided help video.
Although I’d like some rendering advice, the rendered file is now over 7gb and my brand new iMac isn’t able to play it smoothly. Any suggestions in terms of rendering settings?

Glad you like the file and that the video tutorial helped you customise this yourself.
In terms of rendering 7gb sounds about right for an uncompressed lossless HD file. I would recommend using 3rd party software to create a compressed version (either h264 mov or swf depending on how you want to view/upload the file).
