These are some pre-purchase questions.
1. To edit the video, insert our own logo, contact details etc do we need some special software? Is this available for free or do we have to buy it extra?
2. Is it possible shorten the video if required.
3. Can we do different versions of the video (different photos, length, music etc) but one logo and contact details and use them on one licence (i,e on our website, and a slightly shorter one for our Facebook page, etc)
4. Would a person with a good computer knowledge but basic editing skills be able to edit the video.

To edit the video you will need software “Adobe After Effects” version CS4 or any newer version. There is an available trial version of the software in Adobe’s site that works free for a few days. To edit the file (logo / images / durations etc ) you need some skills on After Effects. I would suggest you hire a local freelancer to help you with it because if you need to add your own images, then some use of the After Effects “pen tool” is needed. Not hard to do, but still some experience is needed! Since you will use one logo, it’s ok to use the rendered results in your site, facebook etc without needing another license…

Hello! To add more scenes would require more than basic skills on After Effects.
But there is another easier way to do this:
Fisrt time, render the file as you have customized it and save it.
Then re-open it and replace the photos and titles and render it again, but save it with another name.
Take both renders and connect them (in After Effects or your editing software) to create the duration you finally need.

Hello! Yes of course you can use your own assets (including videos). Tip: To get nicer results, better add the videos at the center (main) placeholders and use your images for the side (smaller) placeholders so you will not have to “cut-out” the main video assets with all their movement… (See video preview at 0:30’’ sec). Hello! Yes it is possible to add videos (especially in the main centered place). The side places can also hold videos but using the pen tool needs some skills.
