Hi, for the Quick Rotation logo, AE 2018 CC is giving me a warning that reference to “Lens Blur” is missing. What should be done?
Hi there! Please use the project file in the subfolder “CS6” to prevent this error.
If you need anything else let me know! Thanks!
This is really amazing:O CONGRATULATIONS!!!!:)
Hi, Do i have to use vector files as logo? Or can i just go with good old png files?
Hi, png files are fine, they should be high res, though, and a transparent background is helpful, too
Hey I’m using the Bright Elegant Lines file and for some reason the 3D extrusion flickers on and off and the positioning of the logo image adjusts. I am not sure how to fix this or why this would be happening since I did not touch any of those controls. I even restarted the project from the original file and it still does this. Also, the old Creattive logo shadow/3D extrusion flickers on and off behind my logo image. I did not touch any settings. I just opened the file, dropped my logo image in, deleted the Creattive image.
Thanks. Love the project aside from that!
Hi, I’m sorry for the inconveniences. I guess I know the problem, instructions are below. If the problem still exists after following my instructions, please contact me at info[at]creattivedesigns.com and attach me your project file along with your logo so that I can take a look at it.
Thanks
ah I think I know the problem. This is a bug in After Effects. We need to turn off the Disk Cache.
The problem is that After Effects doesn’t recognize the changes you have made and still has some frames saved with the old logo. So we need to get rid of that cache.
Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Media & Disk Cache.
Then uncheck “Enable Disk Cache”.
Then Click on “Empty Disk Cache”.
After that, go to edit -> Purge -> All Memory.
I recommend to do the last Purge-Process one more time right before you render your video. This erases all previously saved frames and makes sure AE does not use old saved frames that may be outdated.
Please tell me if that fixed the problem
Excellent job with this pack! I am interested on modifying the Extra Elegant Lines Bright project. What I want to accomplish is to create a rotating logo (360 degrees), then text to appear. Is this possible?
It is possible to do it with After Effects Knowledge, but too hard to explain it via mail or comment. I can offer you to do it for you for a fee. If you are interested, contact me at info@creattivedesigns.com
Great work!
Best regards…
Thanks
Perfect Work!
Will these look good on dark backgrounds?
Well that’s a tough question. In the preview, you see some dark examples and they do look quite good.
Some Lens Flare that’s used often doesn’t look as good on a dark background so they may need to be tuned down, but that’s all possible with the user controls implemented.
Is there a specific logo you want to go for?
Congrats on getting 500 sales on this template
Well deserved
Thanks. Version two will be available soon!
That seems simple enough. Thank you for answering my questions.
no problem
Hey quick dumb question: On the 3d Logo drop within the ‘Put Logo in Here’ composition, the preview screen is wide and very narrow. I tried to place an image in this composition and when I increased it’s size and went to the Output composition, it was cut off. I assume the preview screen sets the limits or is an indication of the image size limit for the logo? How do I set this so I am not limited in image size? thanks!
hi, the size of the “Put Logo in here” composition is intentionally to show you, how big your you logo can be. Scale down your logo so that it is not cut of in the preview screen. Don’t worry if it is very small. In the Output comp, in the controls window, you find a parameter called “Logo Scale”, here you can scale up your logo so that it has the right size in the final animation.
In most of my templates it’s good to take a look at these controls whenever you are coming across an error, as they most probably let you fix your problems very easily (as that’s what they are for)
Awesome! Great product! Thank you for your excellent work
In the Folding Logo String, I don’t see the Logo Scale parameter within the Output controls. Is this one template that doesn’t have this & if so, how can I make it so that the logo/image is bigger without it getting cut off by scaling it within the ‘Put Logo Here” comp
yup you are right. open the composition called “Logo Comp”, select the one layer in it. hit “s” on your keyboard and rescale
But: From a design point of view, a smaller logo is often more appealing to the viewer’s eye, and I honestly think there is already plenty enough room. But I don’t know how your logo looks like, maybe it has such a weird shape it needs to be upscaled
But I often tend to make the logo smaller than bigger, that’s why you often don’t find more room than there is like in that animation.
Nice work! I through a video in the Elegant Lines Reveal and it worked nicely. The only thing I wanted to alter was the position of the reflection as it showed up in the video itself, not on the outside. Is this possible? I literally JUST started using AE less than 36 hours ago. Thanks for this awesome product and killer tutorial.
*To anyone looking*
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product
Hi, thank you for your comment. I’m happy to help you with your problem, but I’m not sure what animation you are talking about. There is no “Elegant Lines Reveal” in this Pack, also there are no Reflections. Are you talking about my other item Elegant Streak?
Greetings, Tobi
d’oh, I’m not knowing my own items
You are talking about the extra item, Elegant Lines, sorry I totally forgot about that one.
The easiest solution would be to move your video up in the “Put Logo in here”-Composition, so that your item doesn’t go through the ground.
If you like to keep the position of your video, you can of course change the position of the reflection. This is what you have to do: 1. Go to the output composition and click on this switch: http://www.joelstutz.com/Images/after%20effects/shy2.jpg
You should now see several more layers.
Find the layer called “Logo pre-comp”, there should be two. Select the top one and press “P” on your keyboard.
3 Parameters should be revealed: 640, 620, 0
click and drag to the right on the second number (620) to move the reflection down
That’s it All the best Tobi
Thanks Tobi! Are those flares in the Bling reveal built in or are they just a standard AE effect? I wanted to add a few more but couldnt figure out how. I’m like 48 hours into using AE…catching on good but still trying to figure out some basics! Thanks man, love the product! You’re awesome Words template is phenomenal too! Going to get that one right away! Keep it up man, impressive stuff right here!
Hi, the flares are a standard after effects – effect called “Lens Flare”. It is tweaked a bit with some other effects to look nicer but nothing is set in stone there.
To add more flares, the easiest thing would be to just copy the existing flares. Just open the “Bling Logo” called composition and select either one of the tagline-flares layers, or the logo flare. Now press Ctrl + D on your keyboard to duplicate that layer.
Now it get’s a bit tricky. The position and color of the duplicate is still connected with the main controls in the output composition. Just like the original flare. To be able to set an own position and color for this new flare, you need to unlink it from the main controls.
For this, again select the new flare layer and quickly press the letter “E” two times on your keyboard. You should now see 2 parameters revealed under that layer: hue and position.
On both of these parameters, there is a switch that is currently enabled, that looks like an equal-sign (=). click on this button to disable the link to the main controls. You can now tweak these settings right here in the Bling-Logo composition. You can move the red bar right to the layer name to the left and right to change the time when it appears on screen.
Customizing this further requires some After Effects knowledge and is hard to explain to a novice, but I hope this little instruction gets you in the right direction.
Greetings, Tobi
Hello,
I can’t change the grey background to white. I deleted all the backs and leave one as the background. On the left bar the background realy looks white. But in the preview it realy looks grey.
So what am i doing wrong?
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Pascal Theune
Hi Pascal,
what logo are you referring to? In the controls layer in the output composition there should be color controls for the background, so no need to mess with layers.
Hi there,
what is the audio file for the 14th animation logo?
Thank you!
Hi, thank you for your purchase. The audio file for the Quick Rotation Logo 2 can be found here: http://audiojungle.net/item/audio-logo-02/118701
This is the same audio as the one heard on the logo video at min 1:21-25 ?
I have just listened to it again. The audio I need is the one BEFORE the Quick Rotation Logo 2. Can you please point me to that one?
that should be the square logo reveal: http://audiojungle.net/item/processor-logo/3491845
