First of all thanks for purchase our template , so first we recommended you to use images for this template because it is a fast opener, images gives you a better output according to video footage. Now here you have facing problem with syncing your footage, inside the placeholder you get a still image, when you place a video inside the placeholder in final cut you won’t sync it properly according to your requirement , because video is based on the start of where the template begins not the placeholder. This is an FCPX limitation. If the template starts at 0:00 seconds and the drop zone appears at 5:00 seconds into it, wherever you click your start frame on your video will be offset by 5:00 seconds. Hi there, unfortunately final cut is not allow us to give that kind of customisation to a generator, but don’t worry here is a simple way to use less footage in more placeholder, place your one image two or three time continuously in placeholder then next one, one more thing if you want trim your generator layer, then right click on layer and click on create New compound clip then you will easily trim your generator according to your requirements like a normal clip, I hope It helps you if you need more help please mail us on motiontrap9394@gmail.com .
