The video tutorial does not mention how to duplicate the callout and makes no mention of needing a plugin in order to use the same callout more than once. I thought I was doing something wrong – the workaround is to import multiple project files but that is not practical. The problem lies in the text portion of the callout as once you change that you cannot use that callout again because it will always reference the same text composition. I will try the true comp duplicator as it’s pretty cheap, but it would have been good knowing this ahead of time.

Hi pixelforce, Yes, I understand. I’m sorry for the incovenience. Actually, there is another call out I create that you can easily duplicate the call out with a single step. Just duplicate the call out composition OR Copy + Paste the Composition. All Elements and Text will duplicate autimatically. What version of AE are you using? If you’re using AE older than CS6, you will need to copy the Call Out Control first, then other layers.
