Done paid, but cannot use with my FCPX version 10.5. Why?
Hello! This template works with Motion 5.3 and above and FCPX 10.3 and above. Please make sure that you have installed the template into the correct direction and made the generator folder “localized” in folder properties.
How to install the FCPX template: paste the Space Trailer FCPX folder into the Generators folder.
A. If you have Apple Motion installed, you can paste them in: {your user name}/Movies/Motion Templates/Generators
B. If you don’t have Apple Motion: – Go to Applications and right-click on your Final Cut Pro icon. – Select “Show Package Contents” – Then navigate to: Applications/Final Cut Pro/Contents/PlugIns/MediaProviders/MotionEffect.fxp/Contents/Resources/Templates/(either Titles or Generators folder)
Also, the generators could be invisible because the template folder is not “localized”. The “Titles”, “Effects”, “Generators” and “Transitions” folders must be “localized”: To do this, select each of these in the Finder, press command-I and in the Get Info window add .localized to the folder name. This extension is automatically hidden but must be present for FCP X to recognize them.
I dont have apple motion, already follow the instruction, quite confusing, do you have video intruction?
the folder is ”.motn” not ”.fcp”
do i need to install motion first?
You don’t need Apple Motion. FCPX uses different directions in a case if you have Motion installed. All you need to do is to drag and drop the Space Trailer FCPX folder into the Generators folder. That’s it.
So cool.. Good luck..
Good work!!!
Thank you my friend!
