I have the output to changed to a local folder on my computer and i’m still getting the same message…. The output module show’s the correct path for my machine.. is there another place that could be affecting this as well?

Thanks for your response… I was able to open the project.. It was an error on my part I realized that I had not fully extracted all the files.
I have since been able to open and edit the text fields.
I am however encountering an error when i attempt to render the project…. again i’m sure it’s something on my end as After effects is new to me.
I’ve added the project to the render que … when I attempt to render it , I get a message saying the directory originally specified in the selected output module no longer exists. my only option is to click ok.
Any thoughts on this?
Also, I would be interested in purchasing the audio track associated with this… how would I go about adding that to the project?

Hi Mike,
Click on “Output to” and chose the destination on your hard drive. It give you that message because the directory is from my hard drive. Just choose another path and everything will be fine
In the “Ready to render” compositions, you can see a layer named “Sound track”. Just replace this layer with “Last Minute Of The Year” music from here: http://audiojungle.net/item/last-minute-of-the-year/831261
When you render this composition, it will be rendered with sound.

Hello, Just purchased and trying to run this in after effects cs6…
keeps coming up showing that i’m missing 15 files and that file ” new year countdown clock 2013.aep” is locked. You can’t save any changes to this file.
I’m also getting all color bars across the image when it loads.

Thank you for your purchase! I’m sorry for my late replay. Sometimes After Effects can’t locate the source files due to the change of location. Easy way is to right click on the missing file and click replace file then locate the file in one of the folders. Once one missing file is located then After Effects will automatically find the rest of the missing files. Please let me know if you managed to open it. Thanks.

Thank you for the quick reply although i think u misunderstood me.. Wanted to know if the time in the clock is editable..Ie – it is 12 o clock in the clock.. is it possible to change the time to say 7 or 8 when an event starts for example..

Oh, sorry. Yes I misunderstood. But the answer is still yes You can also change everything in the clock, including the time (replace 12 with 7 or 8, replace the roman numerals with latin ones…). The only pre-rendered element is the clock itself. Everything else is editable.
just wanna say its an awesome project.. but wold lie to know is it possible to customize the time of the project. I know its a new year project but is it possible to cange the time from 12 to any other time…
