Hi, I’m showing 12 mov files missing from my download, they are no where in the folder to relink to, please advice ASAP as I’m on a tight deadline with this now.
Hi. This problem has happened before. I assume you’re on a PC and unzipping the files? They will be there somewhere, just in another unzipped folder.
Please have a look inside the _MACOSX folder: everything should be inside there. It’s because the zip file was created with a Mac and PC’s unzip files slightly differently. Hope this helps you find everything you need.
I unzipped this on my mac and they are there now, thank you. I dont think my pc likes the ** folder name.

where is trapcode being rendered is there a comp its under? i dont see it anywhere and i have it in my effects can please help ! it shows me particular but it is all red instead of snow
There is a hidden shy layer with the trapcode particular on. Which version of trapcode are you using?

Hi Massimo. No there is no sound unfortunately. It’s somethinf I’m thinking off adding to it soon. And a couple of other designs/updates to go with it.
The snow storm at the end, when the logo desappears does not work correctly. It is bigger than the logo and that looks not pretty. What did I wrong. Need help!
Hi! From what it sounds like you need to scale down your logo in the replace logo comp. try that and let me know how you get on!
My Logo is not bigger than the “ENVATO” one. If its possible I would like to send you a screenshot via email?
Yes of course. Send me the scene file too if you like. I’m available tonight.
Just tested it! It’s a simple fix! Make your logo layer 3D inside the replace logo comp! It’s the icon that looks like a 3D box if you are unsure.

Hi, so far everything works fine except that big red X mark overlapping all the layers. It seems to be coming from the files named left_scene and right_scene in the Precomp folder.
I do not know where to relink those files. When I try to link them with the files of the same name, the envato logo video appears. Any idea on how to get rid of that big red X? Thank you.
Hi PMN, this is an easy one! you need to download/purchase trapcode particular for the snow effect. the big red X is because the plugin is not installed properly. I hope this fixes your issue. please let me know. many thanks. Matt
Right as usual! Thanks for your fast response time. I was having a hard time with this one. Seems like the trial version of trapcode particular was placing that mark on purpose. I should have read it more carefully. The full version works like a charm. The final result is amazing. That’s a 5 star. Best wishes!

Hi, I’ve opened the project but all of the assets seem to missing (Flare, snow front, middle, back.mov etc).. I don’t see them in the folder either. Can you please advise right away, I’m trying to hit a project deadline that I need this for. Thanks.
Hi bournsproductions. Did you unzip the file ok? It’s possible the assets need relinking from within after effects. All files are within a do not modify folder so can be relinked from there. Have a look at the guide PDF and it should detail how to do this. If not let me know and I’ll look into this asap for you. Where are you based? Thanks
Yes. The file unzipped fine. I understand the idea of relinking them. But the actual files were not in the zip folder at all so there is nothing to relink to… I’m in the US.

After extracting the .zip and opening it in AE CS6 I get the message that 6 files are missing since i ’’last saved’’ the file. Upon export it indicates that 20 pieces of footage are missing. What happened, and how to solve this?
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I had to rename the folder DO NOT MODIFY as Windows does not allow * in the filename??
Sorry, got it all settled. By pointing AE to the correct file I managed to recover the entire sequence. It looks truly amazing!
Could you please create a 2.7K or 4K version of it? More pixels to enjoy this great artwork, and it looks proper when used with other 4K footage. Please let me know

Hello! I have a problem. I have After Effects CC 2015. When i open the file it says “Particular effect missing” and i can’t get my logo appear or disappear.

Quick question, how can I place a different background instead of the black background? I cant see where to do it….ive tried replacing the solids and that doesnt seem to work?

Hi Damien, I believe it’s the render settings within trapcode particular? I think changing the layer transparency within that may help? Or the layer that has the cc toner added. What kind of background are you trying to add? A picture or something?

Hi Damien. If you add your background layer above the ramp layer that’ll work fine. have you unhidden all the shy layers?
Hi, thanks for your quick response.
I can see all the solid layers in the project window but cant edit them. I presume thats because theyre pre-comp layers?
I basically want to place the text effect, snow and flare etc over a mountain scene (movie) which is also animated.
Would I just drop that movie into the pre comp folders and remove some of the black solid layers?
sorry if this is a noob question as i quite new to after effects

Ah I see! Yes they are precomped. So If you go into the left or the right comped files and then unhide the shy layers you will see a whole bunch of other layers. At the bottom is the ramp solid gradient layer. just drop your precomped or movie file into there. Just make sure your frame rates are the same. does this make sense?

So I cant work out how to see all the layers that make up the layer “left scene”.
Am I supposed to delete these and instead drag all the layers from my project window perhaps?

No don’t delete anything or you’ll have problems.
Open up the left or the right scene and then in the lower window you will see an icon coloured blue. it looks like a bald headed person with a long nose hiding behind a rectangular wall!

Soryy again for being a noob. I can see how shy layers work.
When I open the project I see “control”, “left” scene” and “right scene”.
If I double click on left scene for examplke to hopefully be able to edit or tweak the layers, all that shows is “flare.mov”?
I jjst cant seem to access the layers within the main timeline unless I drag all of the elements from the project window into the timeline.

yes, thats because the layers are shy (hidden) you should see the motion blur and the shy layer icons both blue. untick it and all the other layers will be shown. i’ll send you a screenshot layer when I can if you are still having problems. Don’t worry!
