I’m having a strange problem – when I place a video into a place holder of files like 03_Opener and such – the video in the placeholder is not played but stuck as a picture.
Please see the explanation -

That’s the result of this video being put into first placeholder of 03_Opener – notice it is stuck just like a simple picture, not playing as a video – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zWt5T979lhvPuQ-PFlHP02ikYEdVRnRg/view?usp=share_link – please ignore the changed color – this is just changed in files like ColorLayer2.png – to reflect the colors I needed. I haven’t touched the generator file in Motion or in whatever.
Well, I can’t even remember if it ever worked before but I sort of presume this might be the consequences of some upgrade – either of Final Cut Pro or to M-processor. But anyway – is there something could be done about it?
just to add – this problem is with all files of this set where the placeholder is present.
ok, on better inspection – the 04_Schedule seems to work as intended (the only one), and the rest – there the placeholder videos are either stuck as picture or plays like 5 sec and then stucks on some frame.

Hi, Sorry for the delay in responding. We have verified each and every element with the latest version of FCP / Motion and it seems to work fine. We are not able to replicate the issue. Can you provide us with Apple Motion and FCP versions of yours. We try to to test the templates in those version if possible.
Final Cut is version 11.0, Motion is version 5.7. Should I may be try re-downloading the package, just in case there were any changes since I last downloaded?
OS is Sequoia 15.0.1 if it matters
We have checked the file in these versions only. Can you encode your video files in ProRes or MP4 format and then use it. We have used MP4 files and they played fine.
Hi, I fought with this in several attempts – and somehow I managed to get it working on several smaller titles, like 04_Schedule or 06_Now – in a sense that sometimes I put in video and it works and sometimes – it freezes as a single frame picture, and when I remove it and add it again – it works.
But on bigger titles like 03_Opener – it is still everytime frozen as a pic.
After your response I believe this is rather my local problem, but still – yes, I tried both mp4 and ProRes and still found no relation to the problem – but are there other requirements for the videos to be put into placeholders? Resolution, size may be? Just thinking of possible sources of the problem.
Also, my mac is 8GB RAM (but M2, so it used to work fine for me with other videos) – could this be an issue?
I’m not sure what else could be a problem. If you are using 4K videos you can convert them to HD and then try using it. MAC ram is not an issue.
Ok, all in all, I found some workaround – I open those files in Motion, not in FCP, and when I add videos in Motion, they render fine. Not very convenient, but at least this way. Still have no idea what is my problem – but it somehow takes too long to render, so I believe this is something about my machine, either small RAM or whatever.
Hi, I don’t understand – the title called 09_EndCredits – how do I change all those ‘executive producer’ and such? They don’t seem to be published parameters?
I think you might need to edit it in Apple Motion.

Hi. You can use the text edit tool inside FCP to edit the text.

Hi, got a new strange problem – didn’t notice it before until really started using – the lower thirds – the names are 11_Lowerthird01, 12_Lowerthird01 and 13_ContentLogoID – after they ‘ended’ they have some period in them which is just empty, but at the end of it, some element suddenly appear, breaking it. Did not change anything in the package. Uploaded the export to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1usDH74hkKOPkGcxo2D3ksKGew4jOzM2H?usp=sharing – please notice the problem at files – in 11th at about 09:15, in 12th at about 09:09, at 13th at about 09:25. Can it be fixed, please?
Hi, You can simply trim those parts in final edit after exporting.
You should trim once it become empty.
Sorry, but I don’t quite understand your reply. Let’s say I have some video which is like 1 min long. I put into FCP and I want this lower third over it – let’s say it is a description of what is going on in the video. I put it over and it has problematic part on 09 second. If I click on the right border of that lower third and drag it back as if to shorten it like normal clip would, the problematic part is not cut off – the whole lower third is just shrinking in time to say 8 seconds and now problematic part is on the 7 seconds (because it is default behavior for generators). May be I’m getting you wrong? Can you please explain how I can trim it before exporting? Or may be I don’t get something?
I tried this and it is not really working on – I presume – because it is not really a clip but generator. When I cut it, it just kinda shrinks in length, but the problematic frames are still there. If you could fix it, it would be great. Or if you could tell sort of instruction – like where to go in Motion and what/how fix it, I probably could follow.

Hi, is there some support on this product – I bought it and now that I’m trying to use it there is some glitch – one of the lines renders very badly – I have no idea why – I changed nothing in the package. I understand this line was supposed to be semy-transparent but smooth – but it renders as some glitchy TV noise. Thanks for your quick reply. I’m using FCP 10.6.3. and I also have Motion 5.6.1 – just in case if it helps, but I didn’t even open it in Motion, I tried to use it in FCP.
Try to export it from Motion and see if the problem is there.

hi, quick question – is it possible to change colors within Final Cut Pro? – currently they’re red, white and blue, but for some project of mine it would go fantastically fit if changed to green, white and blue (the colors of the city emblem).
Not possible to change the colors inside FCP. You can change the colors inside apple motion.
well, ok, I have apple motion too, but how difficult it is if I want to change the colors from red-white-blue to green-white-blue? Wouldn’t I die trying?
I think it will be pretty simple. You have to apply hue saturation effect on it and adjust to get this color. If you want we can change the colors and send it to you. Just purchase the file and let us know. Please use our profile page contact form.
Hi, one more question if you don’t mind. Will I be able to change those tiny little stars which often seen flying there into some other shapes like may be snowflakes? or may be leaves for autumn etc.
