Hello, I have a question before purchasing please. This Dirt Project template states it is Motion 4 & 5. I am not sure what this means, does it contain files for both?. I only have Motion 5, I don’t have Motion 4. Can this template be used in Final Cut Pro X and edited in Motion 5?

I buy this template but he doesn’t work in FCPX. The drop zones doesn’t work in FCPX. When I edit the template in FCPX and save as a Generator and publish all drop zones for FCPX they don’t work if I insert a video. The video doesn’t play and stay stuck as a image. How can I fix this. I try everything already.
Hi, Sorry to hear that. I edit that project in Apple Motion. Never heard or knew that you could edit it on FCX. probably works in Final Cut 7.
Listen if the template is made in Motion he has to work in FCPX. What I did is: Publish all drop zone to FCPX and work but when insert the video the video doesn’t play.
Font will be broken…

Thanks man. I just purchased it, but I have one more favor to ask you because I’m a first-class moron. I totally didn’t realize that I have Motion 3 and the template is Motion 4. Is there any way (and is it even possible) to save it as a Motion 3 and send it to me? Thanks again!

Hi I liked your template and purchased it, but are a bit disappointed. The only media included are a transition and a light flare (2 mov clips), but NO background image(s)! Is this correct, as the background actually gives the “grunge look” – but its not included? Your instructions only illustrates how to change text and drop image/video clip into drop zones (no problem) – but no mention about the background. In Motion 5 the whole template appears glowing white apart from the drop zone sections. I worked through all the template elements but – NO background elements! Please advice as it would be a pity not to be able to use this template. I thank you in advance, looking forward to your response. Regards MJG
Hi MJG, I try the project with motion 5 and it seems that the Negative Filter does not work very well. Very Strange. The OV3.mov is the Matte of the Grungy effect of the background, and since its black, in motion 4, I inverted to make it white. If you want, I can send you the OV3.mov in white. so you just replace the media with the new one i will send you. Please provide me with your Email so i can send you the Media file to you! Thank you and I am sorry for this inconvenient as it is a Problem of the Software.
