OK Not only do I have cineware I also have C4D studio r14 and the plug ins… Where is the help docs? Also still trying to fine the music for this? Why are there no files in the mul folder? What do I export the C4D files as so AE can read them? I rendered out the files and they are fine in C4d but what file format do I export them in?
please locate the help docs in the main zip file and follow the instruction in order to render the C4D file properly, and match the AE linking.You must have the helps docs in the zip file.

Found them rendered out fine and AE sees all… THX Now I am changing out the logo. I save an AI file (it is just a dollar sign) but C4D reads the AI file as a nul object Not sure how to save the AI as splines?
make sure to save it as an illustrator 8 let me know
Yes saved as AI8 But imports object as a nul object when I open the object file there are several ‘paths’ and each path is a spline but not the whole object?
select all spline, right click and connect object

I am using After Effects CC it has CINEWARE: Provides a direct Live 3D Pipeline between After Effects and CINEMA 4D. That means the CINEMA 4D render engine is now fully integrated in After Effects CC. CINEMA 4D files can be directly imported into After Effects and layered as footage elements within the compositing, including CINEMA 4D’s powerful Multi-Pass and layer workflow. There’s no need to wait for long renders or manage intermediate files; there’s only one final render from After Effects.
But I still cannot see the mul objects… When I look in the folder. C4d/3D renders/Breaking News/Mul/ there is nothing in the folder but the AE layer #D Animation needs ‘mul_object-2…(000-0240) in there Did it not download? Should there be that file in the mul folder?
I downloaded the folder again still no mul objects? Is it possible to render this out in C4D into something AE can read? Only export files in C4D are 3D animation files… Thanks for any help…
the jpg sequences 1-240 frames appear to be missing from the mul and rgb folders?
You need to render the sequence in Cinema 4d BEFORE opening After Effects, as explain in the help docs. Also the file have not been tested with the cineware version of C4D.

Yes I did, BTW the city night file is a render H264 mov file, the original C4D file is NOT included of course.
