Hello, the project contains a reference to a missing “Lens Blur” effect when I open the pre-rendered version. What should I do? I use Adobe After Effects 2020.

Hi there – the project contains a reference to a missing “Lens Blur” effect when I open the pre-rendered version. I searched the comments here and found your answer to it 2 years ago, but I don’t have an old enough AE version to unpack an archive, nor can I find a downloadable plugin for it. Mine is a CC 2020 Mac version. How do I fix this issue? I know the Lens Blur effect was replaced by a new “Camera Lens Blur” effect, but the parameters are different.

Please unpack the archive, find any of missing files in the project panel – mouse right click – replace footage and replace it to the file from archive. all other references will replaced automatically.

It’s a 3rd party plugins. You can purchase them from the redgiant.com and videocopilot.net You will not find these plugins in the project, but for users who don’t have them this project included a prerendered version with premaded video clips with particles and lights.

See the edges of the frame. I’m using After Effect CC. But not to worry, I’ve already fixed it. I adjusted the ‘Size’ setting of the ‘Lens’ effect on the [Logo Reveal Mask] from 116 to 125.
Hm, it’s strange just because Logo comp cropped proportionally and logo reveal mask is an alpha mask(this is invisible layer).But I’m really glad that you solve your problem.Thanks
