Hi There,
As previous poster mentioned, Premiere Pro CC seems very sure that there’s no alpha channel in this clip. Need it for a project that’s due tonight, please advise!
Cheers
Hi man! In the Project panel right-click (Ctrl+click) the footage, choose Modify -> Interpret Footage… and make sure that Ignore Alpha Channel is unchecked.
Hi! The “Ignore Alpha Channel” option is greyed out – it does this when theres no alpha channel found. I’ve tried the same project and sequence with a different clip that I know has an alpha channel and it works fine, any ideas? Thanks!
Hi!! Try this: in premiere, drag and drop the footage in timeline, select the footage, go in “Effect Controls” open the Opacity effect and set the Blend Mode in Screen.
Let me know!! Francesco
Hi,
Does this work inside Premiere Pro CS6? When I use it in there, the background isn’t transparent…
Thanks
