So far so great! Just one question, in all of the virtual studio panoramic views, it looks like it’s using footage from halfway through my “Add the anchorman here” composition. I want to start the virtual studio with a zoom from the beginning of the anchor clip, but I can’t get it to play from the beginning. I’ve tried moving the clip around the anchorman composition, but it seems to do unwanted stuff in the virtual studio composition. Any way you could help me out? Thanks!

If you have CS6, is fine. It’s not a silly question. You can’t open an After Effects project created with an earlier version. But since you have a newer version, everything will work well You don’t need to have CS4.
Thanks, I guess my next question is I see a lot of Adobe products that say, CS 6 but I don’t see After Effects in the title. So I need after effects to run your product or just a creative suite 6 ?
You definitely need After Effects to edit the project. After Effects is included only in “Creative Suite 6 Production Premium” and “Creative Suite 6 Master Collection”. What version of CS6 do you have?
I have Creative Suite 6 Production Premium that you mention… (I am learning the system…)

Thank you for your interest in our work, and for your kind words! The news set must be pre-rendered from After Effects first. AE doesn’t have live feed capabilities. It’s exclusively a Post-Production, non-real-time effects and compositing application. If you want to use it in a live stream, you’ll need special equipment and special software like wTVision

For someone who has never used After Effects before, is it fairly easy to customise the logo, text and insert our own presenters?

First I’d like to apologize for the late response. We just get back home. The project is very easy to customize, even you have never used AE before. It is well organized, it is color coded, and with comments added to all elements that have to be edited. However, I could send you the tutorial, to make a better idea of how it is structured, and see if you can work with it. As for the license, I’m pretty sure you’d need the extended one. But to be absolutely sure, it would be better to contact Envato support here http://support.envato.com/. They could give you a straight answer to your particular case. Unfortunately, I’m afraid would be pretty slow for both work and render. I haven’t tested the project on Mac and I’m not sure how it works. However, the lower system I tested it, it was an i5 with 16GB Ram. As for the virtual studio (panoramic view), due to the high-res images used to create the panoramic view, I would definitely recommend at least an i7 with 32GB RAM. The on-air graphic elements should work pretty well, but the virtual studio might freeze, or hardly loaded. Sorry, I’d wish to have a solution.

Does the After Effects CC Version work on this too
Also, Do I need to install anything extra after payment is made and I download the file?
Yes, it works in CC version as well. And no, you don’t have to install anything extra. No 3rd party plugins have been used for this project, just Cycore plugins which comes bundled with After Effects (with trial version of CC as well). There are two versions of the project included in the archive – one with editable Optical Flares, and one with pre-rendered Optical Flares, if you don’t own this plugin. Just make sure you have QuickTime installed on your system.
what is the difference between regular and extended license?

Long story short On Videohive, the extended is basically for broadcast or distribution on DVD etc. For websites you’re ok with the standard licence.

I have a problem, I’m using a top of the line 2013 Mac and its taking hours to render and preview the Opening Scene.. Its the first time I have a problem like this with my computer.
3.4 Ghz i7 32gb of RAM DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB using AE CC (same problem in CS6)

Thank you very much for your purchase and for your kind words! Much appreciated! Should run very well on your system. I searched on forums, and lots of people have complains about CS5 (and above) having a slow response, due to many reasons. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bugs not fixed in CS6 and CC (even in CS5.5). Adobe have done many updates over the time, with several bug fixes. Could you please first check if you have the latest updates. Also please check if your graphic card driver and your Quicktime are up-to-date. In addition, some of the issue may also be related to your AE preference settings. For the render, I would recommend to render first as TGA or PNG sequence. I always make the first render as image sequence. This way, if the render get stuck for any reason, it can be resumed from where it stopped. Both TGA and PNG are losless. I usually use TGA (for fastest render). Once you have the image sequence, you can easily make your final output to a quicktime movie with any compression. I will write you an e-mail, so we could further check what could be the issue.

p.s. If you also have AE CS4, could you please try to run the project there? I know might sound strange, but as far as i know CS4 is the only stable and bugs free version. The project run really smooth in CS4. I’m still working in CS4

Thank you for your purchase! I use Premiere for video editing, and I’m not sure how Vegas works. As far as I know, the only way would be to export the movies with alpha channel from AE to Vegas. I would recommend to render first as TGA/PNG sequence with alpha channel (this way, if the render get stuck somewhere, you can resume it), than make your final output for Vegas, to Quicktime movie with PNG compression. It is lossless and gives you moderate file size. If I could be of any further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact me anytime.

I have bought this package. I’m running in an i7 @ 3.4 with 16 gig ram. I have a 4 gigabyte graphics card. AE CC and my system is very very very slow.
What are the AE setting for this package to work?

Thank you for your purchase! The project should run well on i7 with 16gb ram. Only for virtual studio (panoramic view) is recommended a better system, because of the high resolution of the images used. Please try to make the following changes on After Effects settings:
Under “Memory and Multiprocessing” make sure “Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously” is not checked when you work. Check this, only when you are ready to render your output.

p.s. I haven’t worked in CC yet, but I’ve read on forums that are some issues with it (slow response). The project have been tested on even older computers, and it’s working. So, I assume is not the computer specs, but the version of AE. If you have an older version of AE, could you please also try to open the project in that version?

Please write me an e-mail through my VH profile. We’ll sure make it work, as I think it has something to do with AE settings. Openings (and all the other elements) and render, should work fast with your computer specs. BTW, I would recommend to always use Quicktime instead of avi. With animation or tga/png compression, is also losless and way lower size than avi.
