The “Optical Flares, Trapcode Particular” plugins are included?
After rendering it is visible that the right 1/3 of the logo is running up hill and not perfectly level. I checked the imported graphic and it is perfectly level. I then went through all the transform settings to make sure the rotation was set to zero and all of them were okay. Not sure if this is supposed to be like this or not. I did do an actual measurement on the rendered video and for sure it is not an optical illusion and the far right 1/3 is for sure running up hill. Not sure if this is supposed to be this way or if I have done something wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi there, I think what you describe is simply the camera movement that is not exactly perpendicular to the surface, so during the final zoom out, the logo appears in slight perspective which makes the lower right corner closer to the camera and not perfectly level. So it’s perfectly normal.
To change this, you need to adjust manually the movement of the last camera and the point of interest.

I am thinking of buying this template, however, I would like to know if I can change the background to add a rendered still of a linear brushed metal texture?
Hi, you can do that quite easily if you know how to use AE. The simplest way is to replace one of the 5 textures with your file (On the project panel, folder “Elements”, right click on the texture to replace “Replace Footage > File…” and search your texture) you may need to adjust the brightness of your texture to fit the animation.

Hi! I just bought this project and when I open it, I get a lot of error messages, like this:
‘Effec’ has no properties or method with the name ‘Checkbox’ Error Line 1 Comp.: ’! MASTER’ Layer: 32 (‘Back’) Property: ‘Center’
Like 30 of those error messages, all of them, referring to the ‘Checkbox’. Then, the image looks incomplete. I mean, my logo is not complete. What can I do to correct this?

Hi, Thank you for your purchase! If you use AE in another language than english, it could be the reason since the expressions are not universalised. A simple solution is to open AE in English to check if the expressions work. To do so: create a file ae_force_English.txt with nothing written inside and place it in the folder Documents of your user home directory. Then just open AE, it will start in English. Follow the tutorial to help you with customizing. When you’re done with the project, just delete this file and AE will restart in your chosen language.

i purchased but would like the wood to remain the brown wood color, how do i let the background wood keep its original color?
Hi, sorry for the late answer. You can adjust the color of the background with the control layer, in the “Control Color” section > “Background tint”. Pick a light orange tint and you will get the suited color. Regards, Pierre

Thank you! Yep, you can easily skip the laser light effect scene by moving in the timeline the marker that controls fade-in animation. All this is explained in the video tutorial
