I’ve bought that item. It doesn’t work. I use the newest version of AE and Element 3D. Maybe it’s not compatible with the newest version. I have (re)tried 5 times since a few days ago. I will try one last time tonight. So frustrating. BTW, IMO the speed of the video tutorial is too fast, so the implication is I have to watch parts of the video tutorial several times. (side note: I use to buy Envato items and use VideoCopilot stuff since 2010)
Hi, my apologies for the slow reply. The template is compatible with the latest version of both Ae and Element 3D. Since it was made with Element 3D v1 there’s a little tweak you have to do in order to properly display the textures. You have to manually relink the jpeg files in the Element 3D material editor. can you just drag and drop the logo in or have to copy paste from illestrator?
Hi, you can copy/paste it from Adobe Illustrator or you can import your logo to After Effects as a .png and use the autotrace tool to create a path that Element3D can then use. Let me know if you’ll have any other enquiry, Thank you.
