It is because this template is optimized for English version of After Effects which is a standard version and most commonly used. That will happen with any project that uses expressions. There are instructions in read-me file on how to quickly switch your After Effects to english version and use this project with no expression errors. I understand what you men, but no, this is not the case. There are no pre-renders. Everything is built inside After Effects.
