Great affect! How do you make the background opaque? I want to get rid of the background

Please turn off the following layers.

Layer number 7, 8 , 10, 11, 12, 13
Layer number 14, 15, 16, 17, 26

After this you should have a clean animation with alpha channel.

I followed your directions and there’s still a black background after export. Am I suppose to export as RGB or Alpha + RGB? (When exporting just Alpha the whole animation looks white and bloated)

Found it! The solution was exporting as Alpha + RGB!

Which version are you using? If it is CS6 or above, just click OK on the message box you are prompted with. It will open up fine but as an “Untitled” project.
