Can you tell me if each image has to manually be placed into it’s own comp, or do I just place my images into a folder and the project takes care of the rest? I know the project info says “drag and drop”, but I’d love to know just how much work it will take to get to the render que.

Hi there. Thank you. Yes each image needs to be placed into the comp manually. Unfortunately there isn’t any easier way of importing the photos. If you were to order your photos before importing it to after effects, it will help with just dragging the correct one into each comp, which saves a little bit of time.
Hi, thanks for making this great project! I was wondering, is there an easy way to change the frame rate? Can I just change the frame rate of the main, overall mosaic composition, or would I have to change each individual photo composition also? The reason I ask is because I want to use this with a project that’s set to 30P (29.97 fps), and it looks like this project is set to 25 fps.
Hi there. You could change just the overall frame rate in the main composition to 29.97 and render as is. The animation might move a little bit faster, but the only other thing i would change is the audio comp as well, so the audio doesn’t run faster than normal. Ive heard there is a script called Selected_Comps_Changer.jsx which allows you to select multiple comps in the project panel and with the interface you can change the frame rate to whatever you want and it will change out for all. Sounds good. Hope this helps.:)

Hi there. Thanks for your purchase.1920×1080 is a good default size, which is what the comp size is set up for. Anything larger than that is fine, but bear in mind the file size. Currently it is set for 100 photos only, to help make up the mosaic on the final image.
My Render taking 4 -6 hours. with your PDF render setting from my Laptop with 4GB RAM and i5 CPU. Do you have any idea why its taking that long?

Hi there!. Thanks for your purchase. Render time do vary depending on what computer specs you have. I guess the more RAM and processing power will definately shorten the rendering time. It will range for various people. Some take 1 hour, other times it could be over night. Are you using a PC or MAC? There are also other factors in the after effects settings, such as turning of multiprocessing if it is on. Also it could be the file size of your photos, if your using very large print size files, it will take some time to process through all 100 photos. Let me know how you get on, if you have any other issues. Cheers
Hi yeah your right i was thinking about thie issue as well. but i will try from my Desktop with SSD storage and much more RAM and then i will write my review. Yes my Files were large with small files it took 3 hours and 40 mins but as i say i will try with High spec system then i can add some info. Thanks for reply
hi, I wonder if possible to remove the camera effect, try to make it very simple with bunch with images come out straight out from no where to form a logo. Is it possible? Hope you can help me on this.. thx

Hi Yeaboy: I want to extend the width on the movie to 4224×1080px, in the 9×9 Main group, can I dupe the Photo box without carrying the logo effect across?
Unfortunately the position of the image inside is set precisely to the main image comp, and if you were to duplicate the photo boxes, it will replicate on to the sides as well, which you don’t want to see. If your logo is in the middle, you could try duplicating the side boxes only. Other than that, this would need to be customized for your requirement.

by the way, i accidently delete few end photo layer from Photo Box 13, which lost some logo apeareance effect. can I just fix that? or can I replace the precomp from previous file to fix that problem without redo everything over again?
Do you have an autosave on? Which you could revert back to a prevoius file before that happened? That would be the easiest. If you know your way round after effects. You could import in the previous file and replace that photo box 13 pre comp just as you said, but you must replace those individual layers inside with the photo comp that you have already placed a photo inside. If you know what I mean. So your existing files. You can do so by option or alt drag the correct comp to replace.

yeah, how do I copy the layer effects inside transform, to another layers without manually working on it on every layers.. thanks..
If it is keyframes, you will just need to select all the keyframes that are on that transform property and copy it. Paste it on the highlighted property of the other layer. If it is an effect, Just select and copy the layer style under that particular layer and paste again on whatever layer you want. hope this helps.
thanks Yea, I try to copy all the keyframes from from transform property, when I paste to another layer, it only show x, y on position and scale, without showing the z… any advise? by the way, thank you so so much for your prompt response… looking forward to see any of your new templates soon…
hi. you must activate the 3d layer for that layer. the icon is a 3d box, which is next to a black and white circle. there are 8 or so icons there. click the empty box for that layer. and 3d box will appear. Now you can paste your transform property, the z will show up.

Hi donato! Thanks so much!. Are you referring to the way the photos fall and pan across? there is no easy way of slowing it down without making some changes inside the layers unfortunately.

I think it is a software language issue. You have to change your After Effects Spanish to English first and reopen it. For changing it to English, place an empty “ae_force_english.txt” file in your “My Documents” folder. Also please read this forum for help: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2891739
