I can’t work out how to make certain sections last longer before all the text zooms off the page – and also how to make another page worth of text before the screen moves on to the circle showcasing the logo.. just wondering how i would do that? Thanks

It the Project panel on your left go to folder Scenes -> Logo Reveals and for the purposes of this example let’s choose 3D Logo #1. In that folder double-click on the comp called “Replace 3D Logo Here”. Insert your logo inside that comp and you will be good to go!

If you used Adobe stuff before, then you’ll have no problem. Just make sure you watch an introduction to After Effects on Youtube and you’ll be good to go.

There are a lot of differences, between these ones and Charlie.It’s an IK rig, you can create custom animations (advanced). There are many clothing options, business suit with interchangeable colors is one of them, you can change color of every element.

I have Asus N56VZ laptop with Intel Core i7-3610QM 2,3GHz CPU, 8GB RAM, 64-bit Win 8.1, GForce GT 650M graphic card. And with that config it is not possible to edit this template in After Effects CS6 as it is so slow that it is barely unusable.
Then I tried to open it on a MacBook Pro notebook as well as on iMac Late 2012 – the same problems.
Is there anything wrong I’m doing it as this is first time I use AE? Should I remove compositions that I don’t want to use from the project?
Please, let me know anything that could help me use this file.

With that configuration it should be at least usable. Which version of Afer Effects are you using?
Yes, that’s what makes me confused as well. CS6 version.

Also I wanted to ask: is there any specific scene you’re having problems with or is it the whole project running slow?
I will check the link you have sent me. No, there is no specific scene running slow, the whole project is problem. Will let you know if anything changes after I optimize for 64-bit system.
Hi. All the settings mentioned in the video you linked to are already set-up in my AE. I even tried to move the whole project to the SSD disk inside my laptop, but that didn’t helped me a lot. Really don’t know what to do more. If you want I can capture the screen for you so you can see how slow it is. 
I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Everything should work fine, I don’t know what’s wrong. The only thing I can offer at this point is to edit your project for you.
I’m surprised as well. Thank you for your offer, but it won’t be practical if you edit the project. I wanted to play with it and to learn a AE through it. The only thing that helped me a bit was deleting part of the composition that I don’t need (e.g. Male character and everything connected with it).

I would want to know which is the utility of the script in the notepads. May it be used to “prepopulate” the text fields in the AE project with your own texts or are only created for informative purposes?

Hi, thanks for purchasing! These texts are put in the text files so you can create your own script based on it. It’s main purpose is to help you maintain the approximate length of your sentences. Unfortunately it cannot be used to pre-populate the text fields in the project, that would require a custom script.

You can, you’d only have to parent then new hair to the head.

Really great work and easy to use. I do have a question though. Please forgive my ignorance … I’ve only recently started using AfterEffects.
In the first animation you have the following text that appears in the social media comp.

I know how everything else animates but has does this text animate? I’ve been banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out!

I’m fairly proficient with most of the Adobe suite of products and come from a flash development background. I’ve never really played with After Effects however and realize now that the approach isn’t entirely the same.
