Sure, you can do that easily. Actually the background is just a regular layer that can be modified or replaced with a picture or video.

The ribbons are prerendered from a 3D software. But you can easily add a texture to it, as each ribbon has an alpha channel (transparency). However the texture will not have the same “perspective” as the ribbons.
