Hi! Even though I don’t have Optical Flares installed on my computer, would I still be able to edit this package? Also, if I do buy this package, how would I change the voice? I have After Effects, just not the Optical Flares. Please let me know. Thanks!

Yes, you would be able to edit this project even if you don’t have OF plugin. The version of the template with OF flares pre-rendered is included in the package. To have your own the voice, you would need a voiceover or a Text-to-Speech software to record your voice. There are some great voice-overs services on Envato Studio. Thank you for your interest in our work. No 3rd party plugins are required. A pre-rendered version of Optical Flares plugin is included in the package. The render time depends on many factors. These include your computer specs, After Effects settings, the compression (codec) you use, the resolution of your output, and so on. However, the minimum System Requirements would be an i5 processor with 16GB RAM, and the recommended configuration for the Virtual Studio – Panoramic View, is i7 processor with 32GB RAM. Also, what if I don’t want the Logo to remain “greyish” color and instead it’s original colors? How can I do that?

Thank you for your purchase. There are two versions of the project – one with editable Optical Flares, and one with pre-rendered Optical Flares. You can open the pre-rendered version. The two projects are exactly the same, except that in this version, the OF are pre-rendered. To keep the original color of your Logo, open the “Logo FX” composition and remove the “4-Color Gradient” and hide “Layer Style” of the top “Logo Shape” layer.

Great looking project! I am interested in purchasing this project, but I do not have the optical flares plugin. I noticed in the comments that a pre-rendered version of the project is included. What functionality is lost in the pre-rendered version? Am I still able to change colors / logos?

Thank you for your kind words and for your interest in our project! You don’t lose anything. Both versions are identical, except that in the pre-rendered version, Optical Flares are pre-rendered. Everything else is editable (including the logos, texts, colors…), just like in the editable version.
Hi there! When I place the anchor footage in for some reason it reverses the audio and video, and makes the audio 10x louder too. I thought it may be the format (.mov) so I changed to MP4 with AAC and it didn’t seem to help at all. Am I missing something here? Thanks!
Also worth noting if I add the footage into the studio as a separate layer that problem doesn’t happen. Only when I add the footage to the “replace anchor here” comp does it reverse the footage and audio and max out the DB’s.

I think we’re on the right track muting audio from other comps that may be playing on top – but muting 3D Comp didn’t do the trick.
The “Pano-View Pre-Comp” Comp works / sounds perfect. Just rendered that and it’s amazing! Just can’t get the Comp sound to work. Maybe that’s a clue?

Thank you for your interest in our work. For the On-air elements, there is a Color controller. For Openings, you just have to change the color of the background layers. The virtual studio has pre-rendered elements, and it’s a bit more difficult to change the colors. Please write me an e-mail through my VideoHive profile. Hello, Firstly – thanks for this project. Really easy to use and looks great! Just a quick question that I couldn’t see answered in any of your earlier questions. You Recommend pre rendering the virtual studio once all changes have been made and footage is added to the monitors. Which comp should be exported? and in what format? and then dropped into which comp to add the reporter for final export? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you for your purchase and for your kind words! Much appreciated! Once you have added your footages in Control Room monitors, pre-render “Control Room” composition as TGA sequence with alpha channel (32bits). Then, import the image sequence on top of all layers from “Control Room” composition and hide the other layers. You can also pre-render the monitors 1-6 from “1. Studio Monitors” folder. Now, if you make your final output from “Virtual Studio Panoramic View” composition, you will notice a considerable improvement in the render time. Hope this will help. Thanks Jo, Another (very confusing) problem – I have just exported a from ‘Virtual Studio Panoramic view’ and the news reader and her audio is backwards… The monitors and camera move is forwards, but she is in reverse. She seems to be the correct way in the ‘Add the Anchorman here’ comp. Baffled!

The ancorman video could not works fine on Pararamic view (after few time the anchorman video is stoped but the backgroud studio works fine ) but it works fine on closeup view

As I mentioned in the project description, recommended configuration for Virtual Studio – Panoramic View is i7 processor, 32GB RAM. There are though several things that could improve the render time:
-Probably the system runs out of ram, and start disk caching, which can really slow things down. Try leaving more ram to other applications in memory settings. Please let me know how much RAM memory you have.
-Move your disk cache off of your system drive. In Preferences -> Media & Disk Cache -> Disk Cache, change from default to a fast drive (SSD if possible).
-Use “Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously” Multiprocessing
-Make sure you have the current version of After Effects, including any available updates.
-Please check if your graphic card driver and your Quicktime are up-to-date.
Please let me know if you see any improvements, after you are doing the above changes.
Sir I increased Ram 6GB to 20GB now it is 20GB and Core i7 (first generation ) with Normal Hard drive (Not SSD) Windows 7 and after effects CS5 But still i am gutting 30 minutes for 3 seconds videos on Virtual Studio – Panoramic View
Is It normal for with all these accessories
Due to the high resolution of the images used in the Virtual Studio – Panoramic view, it is normal to take longer to render than usual. On the other hand, I would recommend to first pre-render the control room with all the footages added on monitors, then make the final output. This could improve a bit the render time.

Hello There! I purchased your news package… and I have been trying to learn how to use it for a couple months now since I bought it… and I have a couple questions. First, it is taking a very long time to render things. For example, I tried to use one of the included lower 3rds for a news story I was doing.. I made the edits to the text… and then when I went to render it… it said it was going to take 140 hours to render. I left my computer on so it could render this… and 4 days later it was only at 18% complete. Other things I have rendered have taken 10 to 30 hours to render. Am I doing something wrong? My PC is powerful. It it and Intel I5 with 16gb of memory. Other after effects files I have used from other sellers have maybe taken at most, maybe 3 or 4 hours to render. Why is this taking so long? By the time the lower 3rd is rendered several days later, the news story has passed and is no longer relevant. Also, I cannot find a lot of the weather graphics the you show screen shots of here. I can’t find any of the daily or hourly files at all. Please help! I really love this news package and want to be able to use it, but I need a solution for this rendering problem. Thank you for your purchase. It certainly doesn’t have to take so long to render any elements of the project. Now, there are some things that could improve the render time. First of all, what format you have chosen for your output? I would strongly recommend to first render as TGA sequence with alpha channel (without any image behind the lower 3rd), then add the pre-rendered lower 3rd over your footage and make the final out as Quicktime movie. I always make the first render as image sequence. This way, if the render get stuck for any reason, it can be resumed from where it stopped. Once you have the image sequence, you can easily make your final output to Quicktime movie with any compression. Here are other things that you should try:
-Probably the system runs out of ram, and start disk caching, which can really slow things down. Try leaving more ram to other applications in the memory settings. With 16GB RAM installed, leave 6GB for other applications and 3 Minimum Allocation Per CPU
-Another thing would be to move your disk cache off of your system drive. In Preferences -> Media & Disk Cache -> Disk Cache, change from default to a fast drive (SSD if possible).
-Try to use “Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously” Multiprocessing
-I suppose you have already pressed the CapsLock key while rendering.
-Make sure that you’ve installed the current version of After Effects, including any available updates. BTW, what version of AE you are using?
-Please check if your graphic card driver and your Quicktime are up-to-date.
