I see no way to import my own background. Is this correct? If so, how do I make the entire background transparent?

wow this thing is not at all like it was advertised. its basically remade After effects video, and you can then go in and change stuff. but I tried to do that and because some of my works are longer than the one originally used, it doesn’t fit. it sticks out of some of the masks and you can see it when its supposed to be hidden. I thought this was going to be animation presets as I was led to believe. this is awful, sorry but it is.

okay okay, but its still complicated on what to move and how to fix the issues , there is now guidance what so ever. and there aren’t any youtube tutorials on how to do anything with this.
and one more thing the text color doesn’t transfer over when you move a preset into your own comp. why does it turn grey?

why when i move a preset in to my owe comp the test colors turn grey. this is the only time i have ever had that problem. how do you stop it from turning grey?

I did. its a blank comp. just copied and pasted one of the presets and it lost its color… figured it out, don’t know why but i had to precomposed the layers in the preset and copy that and it worked.
I mean these are good animation. but you really do have to mess around to get it to work the way you want. its not as easy as the video makes it look.

This has to be one of the least user-friendly templates I bought here. I have no idea how to use this? No matter what I set in Text-color-control, everything looks the same. There’s no way to get a proper overview of what presets are what, and the help file states the obvious but nothing of what matters. Disappointed. 
Just made a composition using the video preview template and have added some of the kinetic text animations. When rendering in Adobe Media Encoder HD 1080p output the new text animations are not sharp however the ones that were originally in the template are! How can I fix this?

Update your tutorial with a real tutorial and I will update my rating. Three pictures where you say “the project is well organized” when it is not is not a tutorial. You need to clean up the files, add render comps for different resolutions, and make an actual tutorial for your project.
Purchased. How do I remove the exit animation from a kinetic preset? When the complete title animation is settled, I want it to stay there so I can do a hard cut into another scene. I don’t need the title to fly out or move offscreen at the end.

Hi. Great animations but I have a question about Composition 2.
