You either need to fix this outdated 3D element situation or refund my money—just wasted an entire day on this garbage
Hi cable9, I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your product. Keep in mind that any template made with former third part can be easily migrate to new version than the reverse situation.
Using a product that was made with Element 3D.V1 to EL 3D V.2 has never been a problem.
That is why all the assets of the template have been compiled for easy transport, manipulation and accessibility.
Can you be more specified about your issue? Maybe I can help. What graphic card are you using and what type of computer and version you are using. Are you having any error message? What does the message say?
I absolutely love this trailer. However, I can’t afford to spend over $350 in plugins. Is there anyway to create this trailer without the plugins? Maybe a simpler version?

Opps…the texts look black. I use Element V2.2 but I think I doesn’t working correctly. The text is dark, and like black. How I can make the video like your preview video?

Impossible to Render
Hi this project is impossible to render, it always stop rendering at frame 808, I just figures that’s when the “accordeon” effect appears on video….Well at any time when there is that effect (so around 32sec to 45) and from (1m02)...well theses scenes are impossible to render. My computer just stops and do nothing.
Do you have any ideas what could cause that ?
That type of graphic card you use ?
I have a Core i7 PC with 12 gb or RAM , SSD , and my graphic car is an ATI Radeon HD 5870
Hi! i found one solution! Try to decrease SUPERSAMPLING levels in element 3d settings from 16 to 8 and multisampling from 4 to 2 (or something like this) it can help! (you need to open title composition, find element 3d layer open element 3d effect settings – and decrease this parameter) this error is becose you do not have enong vram to render titles in this antialiasing parameters! This is BUG of elemetn 3d plugin some times element 3d is crashed after effect with this parrameters, some times – NOT i dont know why!

The textures on the Element 3D texts are missing and appear black. However After Effects doesn’t display the error…and If I go to Element 3D plugin as relink the folder as instructed in the video it doesn’t detect any textures.
Help Please.
PS:// I’m on Adobe After Effects CC 2015 and Element 3D 2.2 and file needed to be converted…maybe something there…
Hi! project completelly compatible with element 3d v 2.2 and cc2015 but maybe you need to copy all textures from textures folder to your element 3d textures folder im mt doccuments? are you work on pc or mac ?
I fixed it, it was a missing texture inside the element 3D materials folder…however now i have to relink the texture for every title…kinda long work…Also do you know how I can turn off the textures on the logos ?
Yes! You need to open logo precomposition and deactivate textures layer!
All the text in my project seems to be missing the silver/metallic effect and is just black. What do I need to do to get that effect or what layer might I have accidentally changed to remove it?

My Review: Again, pmwa brings us another Blockbuster Trailer and it is as usual well made. However, All of the Blockbuster Trailers have the same basic look, feel and set up with very little changes accept its background and minor changes in the text animations, its the same as far as how the images appear and its great for putting in image but not really for live video footage as the images change to fast making this more of a fantasy trailer of quick images rather then a normal Blockbuster movie which most trailers don’t really use all 2D images, other then minor changes we basically get the same type of trailer as all the others in the series, so I really could just go back and use anyone of those other ones and make a few changes and get the same results as this one and have it still just as effective, thus I save $37 bucks. While I think that pmwa is very gifted and does great work I would welcome a trailer from him that’s not the same, something completely different, perhaps a more Video footage friendly type of trailer where you have enough room to have actual video footage not transition into the next so quickly, a trailer more in today’s Cinematic style and something completely different in the Text animations and main titles. Horror, Si-FI thrillers anything but the over the top Fantasy.

All Ok now?..The problem: When i open your project i can see all components ok, but as you slide down the timeline with the cursor i can’t see the text… and when i finished doing the rendering in the final product i don’t see the text… This is my only problem… it’ a plug in probler or other?..... Excuseme for my no perfect english..

hey yes thanks i fix that.. I have now Element 3D but can you please explain me one thing.On your tutorial doesent showing it. It about the length of a image or video that I can replace.For example at ” professionally” its only 4 sec but hen I adjust that like to 6 sec the it goes very far away here is a image wht I mean:

nice work. cons: similar to your other temps. i was using core i5 4670k @4.1GHz, 16G ram and a 2G VRAM gtx 660ti, it took me 10 seconds for changing. I dont know if it was because element 3d.
Great work … of course… but can anybody can tell, how this project is working? I have installed cloud version of AE cc2014 , but lots of the effects does not work. Support from Adobe is not answering. So whats the best version of AE to use. Is there somewehere a download section to get a suitable version of AE? Thanks so much
