I’m unable to figure something out. I’m trying to embed a 42 second video in an Animation Gallery. The embeded video plays great the first part of it however about twenty seconds into it the embeded video and audio stops dead on a certain frame and just shows that frame image throughout the rest of the remaining process of the Animation Gallery. I seem to be missing what ever is controlling the duration of the Animation Gallery closing part where everything wraps up the display. I played with everything else, extended the duration of the Animation composition but can’t seem to locate what controls the duration of the closing part of it. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Just reviewed the Gallery Video tutorial, guess there is no way of increasing the video duration and will be limited to 20 seconds?
It’s quite a killer to put 40sec video inside a presentation and I guess i never though anyone would need more than just a short video gallery. Anyway. The Gallery Comp is controlled by expressions which are driven by markers. Basically you need to move those markers in time and also move the animation that they are marking. Open “Animation09 – gallery2” comp from “Animation Scenes” folder. First you need to show all layers in gallery comp by clicking the “shy” button. Then unlock the layers so that they can be selected. Then select layers named “Matte”, “Top” and “Bottom” and hit U to reveal their keyframes. Take the keyframes and move them in time to 1min mark or even more. Then select layers “Diagonal 2”, “orbit3” and top sound FX layer and move them in time where the keyframes are. Then take all markers that you see around 20second mark and move them in time as well. Keep in mind that all moved keyframes, layers and markers should be placed proportionally to each other as they were originally because they all together form an end animation for that scene. You might also need to extend some of the layers that were only 20sec long. Now the comp is ready to accept longer videos.

Is it possible to add more then 2 testimonials to a composition? every time I try to copy/past a third testimonial it duplicates what I already have added to the comp. thank you
It is, but you have to do it properly. You have to also duplicate the comp source not just comp layer. First duplicate the testimonial layer in your final comp, then duplicate the Testimonial comp in Animation Scenes folder, then hold Alt and replace that duplicated layer with the duplicated comp. More of this is explained in “Title Animations.mov” tutorial. I show how it applies to titles, but the same technique applies to any element that you want to duplicate.

I love you work! I’m having an issue exporting it with audio however. I have CC and selected the Audio Option Auto and used the Quicktime format and for some reason the audio is not there. I’ve tried rendering it probably 7 different times. Do you know what i might be doing wrong?
I should probably note that before I started rendering it said I had 20 missing files for the Book Promo.
Love this but confused about the license I need! I want to promote my book (which people will have to buy) with this video. Do I need the standard or extended license??
